That is an awesome promo poster. I would watch the shit outta that "fight" if there could only have been videographic evidence of it.

Anyone who watched the seasons Screech put in on Celebrity Fit Club (shut up) knows what an attention-seeking, self-aggrandizing, self-deluded douchenozzle Screech really is. Sheesh.

Exactly what I was remembering. So much ego and so little talent.

My main takeaway from that clip: MPG still really does it for me.

Everytime I think of what an asshole Dustin Diamond is, I get sad. He didn't have to be Screech, but man, did he have to go and be the Anti-Screech?

Breckin Meyer really let loose on Diamond. I feel like you don't often see celebrities do that. I enjoyed it. Come sit next to me Breckin Meyer.

I admit I totally liked him more after that interview. And I think their show is stupid and boring.

I'd heard of Franklin and Bash but I didn't realise Mark Paul Gosselaar was one of the leads. He is looking pretty damn fine these days.

I also have more respect for MPG because he was restrained. I liked them both.

MPG is one of those child actors who grew up good looking as hell and shockingly well-adjusted.

Screech seems to have gotten the child actor curse for the entire cast. Everyone else (save Lark Voorhies who has a mental illness of some kind) is pretty normal for a celebrity. I'm not defending Screech, but I can see why he'd feud with everyone else simply on the basis that he's all fucked up and they aren't.

Yeah, this. Heh. Does HuffPoLive ply their interviewees with liquor in the green room before interviews? You normally have to feel something pretty strongly to speak without inhibitions that way, or have taken a little nip.

He was swigging out of the coffee cup fairly aggressively, so maybe that wasn't coffee. And he seemed slightly less than sober, but it's Breckin Meyer so who can tell? He's always got that stoner vibe.

Loved that clip and how MPG just sat by and let him do all the talking. DD does indeed seem like a complete dick, so that rant seems spot on.

Apparently 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather are in a feud, so 50 put a spin on the Ice Bucket challenge by saying he will donate $750,000 if Floyd can read one page of Harry Potter out loud without stopping or fucking up.

You know 50 is an awful and so is Floyd, but occasionally 50 is capable of witticisms that make me wish he wasn't horrible. This is one of those times.

Taylor Swift vs. Katy Perry (probably)

Team Neither One for me. I'm tired of Taylor Swift's whining, even if Katy Perry has been Mean Girling her.

I enjoy both Katy and T-Swift (because I am twelve years old?), so I'm mostly just Team More Mean Girl References on this one.

Re: Taylor's whining, I thought she actually came off really well in the Rolling Stone profile - mature, happy, grounded. It was a good read, imo.

I actually hadn't read the article; I was just referring to TS's penchant for writing songs about her nemeses, whether they're ex-love interests, junior high school cliques, or Mean Girls. As I've said before, she went to school in my neighborhood, and I know people who knew her at that time, so maybe that colors my opinion of her.

Oh, I totally get it. She speaks to that a bit in the piece, too, but I also totally understand a more personal history affecting your opinion. Anyone who has heard me rant about Rachael Leigh Cook can back me up on that. (No one else on earth feels that strongly about Rachael Leigh Cook, I am pretty sure.)

I enjoy Taylor Swift for the most part too (though I totally get why other people find her tiresome) and enjoyed that profile as well (she has always reminded me of that super popular girl who is a bit out of touch but so genuinely nice you can't hate her, even if she has tendencies to be a bit much). THAT BEING SAID the way that she stressed that it was COMPLETELY PROFESSIONAL made me go "uh huh and her being with that messy ass John Mayer at that time had NOTHING to do with it...mmkay".

The moral of this story is stop banging John Mayer, guys. He probably smells like old leftover brie.

Alison or Larson? I don't think either of them has been linked to him (for their sakes I hope not).

Sorry. The pun compelled me.
