The Harold and Kumar Series
The third one is out in America soon, Here is the normal trailer and the red band.
I'm not a stoner but I love these films, the first one was awesome. The second was ok (emo!Harold), but it felt like they were holding out on more of the subversive stuff, the third one from what I am seeing seems to be unnecessary and for some stupid reason is in 3D. Maria is back, as is 'Neil Patrick Harris', Rosenberg and Goldstein. No word on if Chris Meloni is playing any part this time around.
Anyone else interested in seeing this?
Plus John Cho is hot.

God, John Cho is SO hot.
I am absolutely seeing this. I ADORE the first one and feel less affection towards the second one, but there's no question that this is on the (now very short) list of things I will see in the theatre this year.

I adore both Cho and Penn. The first movie is one of my all-time favorites. Some friends of ours and we are planning to see the latest in the theatre; preferably while under the influence of something or another. :)

I saw a trailer for this last night before 50/50 and I told my husband that we have to see this on opening weekend. It looks like comedy gold.

I really enjoyed the first movie but was disappointed in the second, so I'm lukewarm on my interest in seeing the newest installment. I do love me some Cho/Penn, though.

I love the first one like a small child loves candy. I have seen it approximately eleventeen thousand times, and I cannot not watch it if I happen across it while channel-flipping, no matter how butchered and bowdlerized the version that makes it onto basic cable.
The second one, well. I will go by the old adage "if you can't say anything nice..." I will probably skip this one because really, who needs Christmas movies other than Die Hard? Well, unless the makers of "Center Stage" see fit to give us a Christmas sequel featuring shenanigans behind a rock-n-roll version of The Nutcracker.

I hope just by saying that you willed that movie into existence somewhere.

I'm putting it out there to the universe, along with a BBC miniseries of "The Mysterious Benedict Society" starring Stephen Fry as Mr. Benedict/Ledroptha Curtain and Kevin McKidd as Milligan. (*fans self*)

Re: The Harold and Kumar Series
I'm probably the only person who has now seen the second AND third Harold & Kumar movies without having ever seen the first (no, I don't know how/why that happened). I thought the second one was okay, but this one is just delightful. Tom Lennon is a great addition to the cast and I'm honestly happy to see him in anything. I also loved the way the movie lampooned the overuse of 3-D in popular movies. Almost every use of 3-D was hilarious and spot-on. Just inspired silliness all around.
John Cho and Kal Penn are both wicked hot, too.

While I wouldn't kick John Cho out of bed for eating...well anything short of a chocolate fountain (Sue me, this memory foam mattress was freaking expensive, and it's basically a big sponge), Kal Penn is a total hottie-boombalotty, and he can have a whole pig roast with multiple side dishes and two kegs of quality microbrews in my bed and I would not say boo.queenofdenile wrote:

In short, Kal Penn. Yep. Call me.

Yes! I feel like John Cho gets all the love (and as you said, I wouldn't kick him out of bed) but my lovely Kal Penn seems less appreciated. I think he's become even hotter over the last few years as he's aged a bit. I get all full of squee when he shows up on HIMYM even though I kind of hate that whole storyline. But yeah, he does it for me big time.

That was the cutest most heartwarming drug-sex comedy I've seen in a long time. Also I hope to see a spin off movie w/Adrian & Todd. I died at
Extra fun was spotting the Detroit locations in the movie, it's always nice to see the gorgeous Guardian building. And I'm thinking they were at the White Castle's off Telegraph, I don't think the one on Woodward near Jefferson has that much seating.
