I think if I were to watch him in Firefly or Chuck now, I'd spend my time side-eyeing him. I know that actors are not their characters but there's a limit to how much disbelief I can suspend (if that's the right way of putting it) when people like him are on screen.

I think that I may dislike him more than any other actor getting mainstream work. More than Mel, more than Shia, more than Alec. This is a Ted Nugent level of antipathy.

Like in Shia's case at least I think he's genuinely mentally ill. I don't think Baldwin even has that excuse. but yeah I can see that. Like even with Mel, he has that odd friendship with Jodie. I don't think Adam Baldwin could even manage that. Wow what a sad competition he lost.

I agree. Shia has some issues he needs to work out, Alec's problems lately seem to stem from a hair trigger temper, and Mel, while still an anti-semitic misogynist, has at least been keeping a low profile. Adam Baldwin just seems like The Worst--maybe because he's online?

I think...Adam Baldwin also seems perfectly sane. I find two out of those three men pretty repugnant (like I think Alec Baldwin is hilarious and talented and politically our opinions are much more in line...but hes a horrible man), I find Shia more sad and worrisome, but they all seem...like they have underlying issues. Adam Baldwin just seems like the asshole neighbour next door.

I hated the Vanity Fair cover profile on Jennifer Lawrence. I hate the overdone I'm-naked-in-a-pool-dripping-in-diamonds portraits, and I hated how she came off in the article, which I would rather blame the writer for instead of her. I want to like Jennifer Lawrence, but I think they went too far in trying to portray her as this aw-shucks, fame-can't-change-her, just-a-normal-girl-who's-the-biggest-star-ever. The worst parts: 1) when she said her publicists told her not to drink alcohol during the interview because she says too much when she drinks 2) When she said that falling down at the Oscars was due to her being crazy hormonal because she "fucked up [her] birth-control pills" 3) that the writer had to compare her to Gwyneth (I think he called her the anti-Gwyneth, what with the whole growing up in Hicksville riding horses bareback, or something). The whole thing made me want to kick the writer in the balls.
