Piping up to say that I liked the idea of a quarter quell because it fit in so neatly with the idea of reality tv. You know, Project Runway All Stars, Capitol Quarter Quell. Totes makes sense to me! :)

Okay, I may be exaggerating a bit, but still, sexually explicit? Occult/satanic? Anti-family? I really don't remember that in my copies. In fact, as we've discussed, there's no mention of religion at all.

No mention of religion would be enough to get it challenged in some areas. I remember the report we had to do in Library School on challenged books and The Wizard of Oz was on my list. In one place, it was challenged because Dorothy didn't ask God for help during the book.
