Has a birthday coming up. He'll be 33. Again.

This guy again? He's going to need a new publicity angle if he wants to bump Kim Kardashian off the tabloid covers. And now that Demi and Ashton are divorcing, he really has his work cut out for him. How many times can a person peddle the turning water into wine trick and the rising from the tomb after three days? At this rate, he's in danger of turning into David Blaine. I'm sorry, but there it is.

After those rumors about him ending the world this year turned out to be false, I felt a little better about a career revival for him.

Well, except then you wonder if he's just going to try to horn in on the whole 2012 world ending thing next year for publicity, which is totally tacksville.

I suspect its going to be timed with the whole OWS protests. After all, he was in the temples hollering at the money changers. He is the first Occupier.

Settle a bet: does his middle name really start with "H"?

No. His middle name is Jose after his dad. But I can see how reading the Bible in English makes that a bit confusing.

I wonder if his whole birthday thing is like the head of my county (known as the executive) who has a birthday charity event every year where he celebrates the anniversary of his 39th birthday. I think this year is his 11th anniversary of being 39.

Yeah - but he has some weird things on it:
Justin Bieber Xmas CD
Lego Ninja Temple Set
And a Fashionista Barbie

It's really easy to keep rebuilding a temple when it's Legos...

Sometimes when I'm doing yoga, I think of when he said, "to thine own self be true". It helps me to nourish my inner aspect.

Or was that Benjamin Franklin?

This guy is always telling people how to live their lives and what they should and shouldn't do. He's totally cutting into Gwennie's territory. He doesn't even have a website for crying out loud! Also, he must have a movie or something coming out in a couple of weeks because people are doing a lot of talk about him and his comeback.

Sources say that the wine JC created for lunch awhile back was a 1978 Montrachet, which was over-the-top indulgent when a 2008 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru would have been a more economical and perfectly acceptable pairing with a simple lunch of seafood and bread. But I'd imagine he was trying to impress.

That Jesus is always trying to one-up people.  Surely being the "son of God" is a much less difficult job than being on set making a movie for two whole weeks for, like, 14 hours at a time!  I mean, seriously, movie making is a truly demanding job.

If there's one thing JC and GP have in common, it's the burdens that come with being descended from a rabbinical dynasty. With great power comes great responsibility.
