Re: Stars I Like
In my fantasy life, I am BFF with Jennifer Lawrence (and Emma Stone). And together, we fight crime! Or just drink a lot of beers.

I want Jodie Foster. I hope she likes tex-mex. There will be biiig margaritas. I will give her science ideas that she can turn into movies for her directing career.inversed wrote:In my fantasy life, I am BFF with Jennifer Lawrence (and Emma Stone). And together, we fight crime! Re: Stars I Like
Every time I read an interview or whatever with Jennifer Lawrence, I think "man, it'd be so fun to grab a beer with her."
Emma Stone can come too. She seems like more of a cocktail person than a beer drinker, but bars do both. They both come across as people you'd have good time hanging out with.
And if I were Jennifer's publicist, I wouldn't get too worried about her lack of filter--there's nothing wrong with an actress who comes across like a fun, laid-back person who recognizes what she does is kind of ridiculous. Plus I can't imagine too many guys are turned off by someone that hot and also that relatable.
(Actually, if I were KStew's publicist, I'd be begging her to take notes from both of them.)

She's joked that she gives her publicist heart attacks because she doesn't plan what she's going to say in interviews. Most of us would consider that an endearing quality, but I can see how a publicist wouldn't!
Re: Stars I Like
Based on this thread, Jennifer Lawrence should run for president. Inverse beer test.

"I wouldn’t even know who she was," he said. But it'd probably dawn on him after the breakup song hit the radio. "Yeah, exactly," he said. "'Sam, You Piece of Shit.' Oh … that was the girl you brought home!"

Unfortunately, it sounds like he had to apologize to Taylor, based on this tweet. All must kneel before Queen Swift.

I love Chrissy Teigen. Shes a model whose best known for being a SI girl and the face of skullcandy, and John Legend's fiance. But shes awesome. Her twitter is the best twitter of all time. She is hilarious and her food blog is amazing.
And shes feuding with Michele Malkin.

I have maybe fallen a little bit in love with Stark Sands. It started with Generation Kill so at first I thought I was just transferring my love of Lt. Fick from the book. But then I discovered that he can sing and that his great grandfather was the real life J.R. Ewing and I couldn't get enough. I watched all of NYC-22 for him. I think the straw that broke the camel's back was when I started following him on Instagram - his feed is just delightful.
If I ever met him in real life, I would just say embarrassing things to him.

Lil D, I only know Stark Sands from American Idiot, which I was lucky enough to catch during its too-brief Broadway run. I'm more of a John Gallagher Jr. and Tony Vincent girl, but thanks for sharing that AOL Sessions performance -- really nice showcase for him!

Ugh, I love him so much, Lil D. Gen Kill was my introduction, too. I would kill to be able to see him in the stage production of Kinky Boots.
I can't remember what started it, but I also recently got it into my head that I want him to be on Southland. Go be in a good cop show, Stark!

Re: Stars I Like
I only watched Generation Kill last year, so I only found out he was in American Idiot after it was all over. I guess I could go to New York to see Kinky Boots but ... It just seems fraught with danger. I could not like it and, honestly, I may be too old to travel 2+ hours to see him in person and then I might need to worry about going full stalker.
I am absolutely going to see Inside Llewyn Davis as soon as I can though. Who cares if he is in just three scenes and possibly doing a strange accent?

Ang Lee celebrates his win, Oscar in one hand and In-N-Out burger in the other. There may be a picture out there that's more quintessentially L.A., but it doesn't come to mind right now.

Forget the hors d'oeuvres and the trays of champagne. In 'N Out and soda is the perfect Oscar afterparty.

You hate In-N-Out? My brain can't compute that opinion. But in other news, Ang Lee is adorable.

I was so happy he won. And whatever, I'm glad Affleck was snubbed, since I think all those nominated were more deserving so really this just helped spread the wealth a little bit.

I just want to hug him. Not only is he my favorite film director (or at least tied with Tarantino), but he just seems like a lovely man.

That picture is awesome. The big grin that you see even behind a faceful of burger and the Oscar clutched in the other, it's just adorable.

Mila Kunis is awesome. She's now the fifth member of my imaginary celeb BFFs club (previous members, in order of induction: Kristen Bell, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, Anna Kendrick).

Re: Stars I Like
So Ryan Gosling is winning me over a bit lately, with his love of Larry Mongo, and his joint Cafe D'Mongo's Speakeasy. But LORD what a weird cast (unless Matt Smith is the Monster in the title) for his directorial debut, and I really can't see Eva lasting more than two weeks tops in the D. It ain't Bangkok. Hell it's not even Pittsburgh.
