I definitely had the sense last season that the producers were FAR more invested in the school and the students than I ever was.

Holy moley, I just found out my friend's cousin was the Companion to the Eighth Doctor. That's before my Doctor Who watching began. I have to track that one down.

I don't know if that's justification enough to expose yourself to Eric Roberts' Master.

The Eight Doctor himself is fine, and I love the way he ends up with his costume, but I'm kinda glad it didn't succeed at the time, as I don't think we'd have Who as we now know it.

I was at a DW convention a few years back that reunited most of the cast of the Eighth Doctor's movie, and the evening entertainment was the cast doing a commentary while the movie played. So they all sat there at the front, each with a microphone (I think about 7 or 8 of them), except... none of them had watched the movie in *years*, and they were too busy watching it to comment! None of them would say anything for six or seven minutes at a time! It was awful! They needed a moderator to ask them things to prod them to speak. I didn't make it to the end!

Daphne. At the time this friend and I hung out Dana Ashbrook was the more famous cousin, having played Bobby on Twin Peaks.

That explains a lot. I wondered why they had episode after episode set in that school. However, the spinoff sounds like what my late father would call an "option dropper". I predict one series at best.

If they were going to do a spinoff, why not Pasternoster Gang? I'd watch that.

Madame Vastra and Jenny team up with Emily Boothroyd and Alice Guppy. The Universe trembles.

I don't even really like Clara, but I still thought it was sad. I did know what happened because my mom called me and was all, "Can you believe they killed Clara?!" And I was like, "Yeah, it's on my DVR. Haven't actually watched yet. So thanks for that." Good grief.

I did enjoy what they did with the Ishildur. She's an interesting character. I hope she comes back more.

I am ready for a new companion. I wonder what they'll be like.

I think this was the first time that I didn't really like an episode, it had its moments ( like the inside being bigger explanation and all the doctors remarks)
