This...this is delightful. I am so very pleased that people are seeing through CC's immense pile of bullshit. Hopefully this tanks all further works of hers.

I have not actually seen defenses of her yet, but I've seen other people complaining about defenses of her (said defenses are apparently "they're just picking on her because sexism/misogyny/YA is a girl thing/women don't want other women to succeed/you don't understand fanfic"). So keep an eye out for that, I guess.

And then you get the Us Weekly review, which commended the highly original storytelling throughout.

Kris Jenner's talk show is cancelled after its 6-week trial run. Now if only the rest of that family's shows could get the axe...

I just did the Nelson from The Simpsons "Ha HA!" out loud when I read that. Hell yes.

I was looking at the local cinema listings the other week and I realised that City of Bones wasn't playing anymore. Less than three weeks after release when the schools were still on holidays, it wasn't in either cinema and this is a city with two multiplexes. So this news doesn't surprise me.

I feel just a little guilty about enjoying the failure of these films because I'm sure, somewhere, someone is out of a job because of this and that sucks.

Producers of Atlas Shrugged started a kickstarter account to finish the trilogy.

Robin Williams is back on TV. Has to take some time away from maudlin Oscar begs.

You'd think they would have gotten the hint after the first two did so badly, but nooo...

Of course, Ayn Rand was on social security and Medicare when she died, so there's a precedent for standing up for one thing and then going and doing the other.

They claim to be all about the free market, and the market spoke... and it said, "Oh, honey, no!"

Yet, here we are.

The objectivist slogan really should be "that's different!"

Gathering of the Juggalos needs a new venue.
ICP also declined to give a reason for leaving the original site, though it's possible it simply couldn't settle on just one reason, as the list of its troubles includes owing vendors upwards of $300,000, several deaths at Gatherings over the years, a particularly ugly incident in which fans pelted Tila Tequila with feces, a sexual-harassment lawsuit against the band, an ill-advised attempt to sue the FBI, and innumerable Juggalos arrested for drug use or disorderly conduct at every festival. Perhaps Insane Clown Posse can save everyone some hassle and simply hold the next Gathering in jail.

As a Brit, I would like to make it absolutely clear that despite Piers Morgan's show getting the axe, you agreed to take him over there, you have to keep him.

Between this and Alec Baldwin's almost universally panned article for New York Magazine in which he flounced from public life, it's been a very good 24 hours.

Chris Brown cancels concert after selling only 3,500 of 20,000 seats. I'm a little disappointed he even sold that many, but I've still got a smile on my face!

I have no great love for ICP, but as obnoxious as their fans can be, calling them a gang is overkill, and trivializes actual issues associated with gangs.
