Exactly! The article will have to make Stewart look good and Lainey seem like she's just a gossip blogger with good sources and not on Stewart's payroll. It takes a bit more time to cleverly shape that narrative. This whole Robsten mess has exposed Lainey's paid bias. It makes it pretty clear who else is on that list. The ones she continues to defend despite all rational judgement. She's not the mouthy anti Mini Van minority feminist or whatever power trip she's trying to ride, she's just another paid mouthpiece in blogger disguise. That self proclaimed expensive shoe habit of hers needs funding, after all.

Get him in a romantic tv role, stat.

Now, from what I recall, Robert and Katy have been friends for years. Katy and Kristen are friends as well. But somehow, it seems Lainey's implying that People pulled the article (which I found easily on Google, by the way, so maybe Lainey should look into a computer class?) because Rob and Katy are now some sort of thing, which means that Rob was OBVIOUSLY screwing around on Kristen before the breakup. So, see? Kristen's not so bad after all, is she?

And I fail to see how it makes Stewart look any better. I don't think shes a homewrecker, because a married party wrecks the home, tbh. Sanders is the one at fault. But even if her boyfriend was cheating on her and she was long suffering, or they had an open relationship...she still knowingly had an affair with a married man whose wife and kids she had socialized with. That is sketch as fuck.

Exactly. In LaineyWorld one somehow negates the other, which is just ridiculous. Nothing can justify Kristen carrying on with a married guy with kids. As far as I know, the rumors that Rob was fooling around all over the place seem to have originated with a lunatic Kristen fan who was infamous in the fandom for her rants against him on every blog and article she could find. If you say something enough times in enough places, and call the right magazines with "insider tips," chances are people will start believing you.

I'm not saying that Rob hasn't fooled around -- I don't know the guy, and I'm not that tuned into the hardcore fanbase, so I can't say. But even if he has, at least he wasn't stupid enough to do it in broad daylight on a public street where any vengeful paparazzo could catch him. (Not that that would make it right either, but you know what I mean. Hopefully.)

It's also pretty hilarious since I remember during the scandal she was reassuring everyone that Rob wasn't hooking up with anyone new and that it would be "a long time, if ever" before he got over Kristen. He was a pathetic doormat when that was the story she needed to prop up KStew, now he's a cheater when that's the image that can help her.

I also don't get her whole convoluted Dangerous Liasions comparison when it seems like what she's saying is that Katy and Kristen have the same rep and so are pushing the same story, which is kind of the opposite of "war".

And yeah, Katy and Rob were friends even before he and Kristen got together, so being seen together is hardly a smoking gun. The people who saw them aren't even claiming that it looked like anything romantic.

Every time Lainey refers to Ygritte from GoT as "Gidget" I lose a brain cell. That nickname is so painfully unfunny and nonsensical. Lainey really, really needs a tutorial from Michael K to help her come up with nicknames that aren't the equivalent of "fetch" from Mean Girls. Granny Freeze? Porny? And she seriously wants Catelyn to die? Uggghhhhh.

She also hates Sansa and enjoys watching Theon be tortured. Her tv opinions are awful. She has a lot of anger towards Downton Abbey for not...being less soapy? IDK it descends into OTT rage when she talks about it.

ETA: Her article about Chimes for Change is disgusting. The fact that she basically said that Angelina Jolie saved her reveal to promote Brad Pitt's movie is disgusting. The fact that she is projecting that Beyonce and Salma Hayek would be annoyed if she showed up because her surgery got too much attention is disgusting. The fact that she thinks it would be completely political if she showed up is disgusting.

Its also kinda gross that she turned a poorly worded but nice sentiment from Beyonce into what Lainey does right about philanthropy and what Beyonce does wrong.

I'm feeling super-duper twitchy because apparently SHIT WENT DOWN last night, so I'm automatically averting my eyes at anything GoT-adjacent - Facebook has been a nightmare, not shockingly. If it wasn't an actual spoiler (I just saw some character names and "torture"), then don't mind me.

Its not, I hadn't watched the latest episode when I posted that. I was just referring to something she said a couple weeks about how she is enjoying watching Theon tortured, and I feel like even if you don't like the character there is something kind of weird about actively enjoying seeing that.

ETA: Sarah's fake comic book cred continues to make me laugh. Shes probably right that Benicio Del Toro is playing Thanos but I can't believe she suggested he might be playing Adam Warlock, right after a whole paragraph about how Lee Pace is in the movie and not knowing who he is playing. Lee Pace is way more an Adam Warlock than Del Toro.

You know who else was in London this weekend? You know who She is. And you know the causes She champions. They seem to be in line with the causes championed at this event.

IF She were to have considered coming, and not saving Her big reveal to promote her man’s movie, would it have been politics on Her side about who was there and whatever, or would it have been someone else who didn’t want to share, realising she may have had to back into the shadows because She automatically becomes the only VIP whenever She goes anywhere?

Given the timing of the concert, so close to the premiere of World War Z, her batshit crazy logic doesn't even sustain itself in that brief post.
