Say Yes To The Dress: NYC is so, so much better than SYTTD: Atlanta. I'm so glad it's back. I have to admit, I got a little misty to see the re-appearance of the woman who'd taken home the $11,000 dress after her fiance canceled the wedding. It was so adorable to see Joan get teary and Vera say, "You find a good guy this time, right?" And her story was straight out of a rom-com! I loved it.

I am so The Rachel Zoe Project's bitch. I just love her and Roger and now Joey. I thought the dress he pulled for Molly was *great* and laughed heartily when I realized that she wasn't actually being photographed by the artist but was merely going to his gallery show. Molly Sims is a shining stah baby. Hilars.

I'm totally pulling for Jeremiah to convince them they need a Rachel Zoe home line, cause I'd buy that shit from Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

OMG, yes! Monty is awful, just awful (he doesn't even work there, he's a hairdresser from DC or some such place, he flies in to do the show). I do have to say that the second season of Atlanta made me hate Lori and the consultants less. In the first season, it seemed like they always got pissy if the bride didn't buy the very first gown they put on her; there was less of that in Season 2, and a couple of the consultants seemed downright pleasant.

But even worse was the Bridesmaids show they had over the summer. A couple of the shows had Lori talking about how wonderful and beautiful it is on the bridal floor, but the bridesmaids' area is "the dungeon." Um, way to sell your business, there, ma'am. And the guy on that show is even worse than Monty.

Did you notice that the budgets for the Atlanta brides are very much lower than for NY? Very few of the Atlanta brides had budgets over $2,000; at Kleinfeld, that gives you few options.

I used to really like this show but I gave up this season but I gave up for three reasons. I find Joey to be completely freaking insufferable and literally wondered what the point of a stylist was if he just brought a gazillion looks! Like narrow that shit down! Also, I find his voice annoying and he just seems to be an ass.

The other reasons were the crappy way they handled Jeremiah, yes I realize it was all scripted, but it also annoyed me the revisionist history about Brad leaving. Rachel was all "he told us he just wanted to hang out with his boyfriend and his dog but now he is GASP STYLING PEOPLE! I feel so betrayed!" Bitch, please! You gave joint interviews when he quit where he was talking about going out on his own and styling for himself and it was also known that he had his own Bravo show happening as well!

I love that show just for the clothes, clothes, clothes. Not interested in most of the people and their drama, though I find Rachel and Rodger's marriage kind of fascinating, and also the new VP Mandana. I would like Rachel's salami recipe! Can you believe I just typed that? I actually went out a bought a jar of apricot jam and am going to buy a salami and just wing it. It was so weird seeing Rachel "cooking" anything, never mind salami, when we never see her consume anything except beverages.

Yeah, I used to love The Rachel Zoe Project, but this season was terrible. Rodger sucks, and I used to fast forward any scene with him, but now he's a huge part of the show. Joey is terrible and super annoying, and it's just a big kiss up to Rachel fest, not about all of the fun clothes and the behind the scenes styling work, which is what made the show so interesting. Bravo had a few marathons of old episodes, and watching a bunch of those and then watching this season just showed how bad this season was. I miss Brad, and even crazy Taylor.

I also agree that Say Yes NY is miles better than Atlanta. Monte sucks, they tried to make a Randy, but Monte is just mean and full of himself, and Randy is awesome and wants everyone to be just as awesome as he is.

Suburbatory.

It's got charm. And I love the entire ABC Wednesday comedy line-up so much.

I'm ashamed to admit that while Dance Moms is horrifying, it is also unbelievably addictive. The kids are sane, and the adults act like total nutjobs. I love it. People screaming about leotards and dance instructors choreographing weird and age-inappropriate numbers for young kids? ABSOLUTE. TV. GOLD.

I know, what is it about Dance Moms? Every child on that show is no doubt going to need massive therapy someday and I feel terrible for them, but watching their parents flutter around and scream about crazy costumes and their child not getting their chance to shine while their dance teacher goes completely apeshit is just somehow crazy watchable.

It's sad how excited I was to hear that there'd be a second season and with more eps, too. If there were only a way to have the moms be batshit crazy without affecting their kids in any way, then it wouldn't be a guilty pleasure, but sadly, that's no possible and hence comes the shame and guilt of enjoying the show. It's hilarious how Abby always thinks she's being attacked even when one of the moms is trying to speak rationally and calmly with her. And by "one of the moms," I mean Nia's mom. The rest tend to scream and get all damn crazy ass no matter what the issue at hand is.

Yay, second season! That's great news!

I do not understand Nia's mom at all. She seems so sane and normal; why did she agree to be on this show? Otherwise, the only saving grace is how hilariously fake a lot of it. Like, everything involving Cathy was clearly completely staged. Which doesn't mean she's not completely batshit crazy too, but we can hope maybe she's in on the joke a little bit?

Yeah, I didn't get Nia's mom either. I hope she sees the first season and is horrified and pulls out.

When I first started watching I was all ready to hate on Abby, but I ended up taking her side in most of the arguments just because the mothers were clearly batshit insane. I ended up not watching the last couple of episodes because I was starting to feel so uncomfortable for those girls (who were truly lovely and seemed so much more rational than the adults they were surrounded by), but I think I'll tune in to S2.

The Cathy antics were just insane. I'm scare (and also partly delighted) that someone like her actually existeds in the world. Whenever she showed up onscreen, the show turned into a dark comedy. It was golden.

I just saw an ad for S2 yesternight that made me scream with annoyance because it said "Season 2 coming soon." DO NOT TAUNT ME WITH YOUR VAGUE BULLSHIT, LIFETIME. SET A SPECIFIC DATE, YOU BASTARDS!!!!!!!

My TV guilty pleasure is everything on TLC. My husband thinks it might actually be the worse channel on television but I love it. Say Yes to the Dress, Cake Boss, DC Cupcakes, Sister Wives, Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta, Four Weddings, and on and on. Oh my, Sister Wives! I cannot look away. I watch it and I'm thinking, "Why am I watching this?" but at the same time I am unable to turn off the television. I'm just so fascinated by the whole thing. The episode where all the wives are at the gym all I can think is, "How weird would it be to be working out with them? You'd be on a treadmill, thinking Oh friends working out together! and then one of them mentions their husband and you SPLAT! off the treadmill". And then oh, it's so funny, too! Because in that same episode Kody is all, "I trust my wives. They're at the gym with a personal trainer but I trust them to behave responsibility around other men." ?!?!?!?!? I laughed. Out loud. Because something about it just struck me as ridiculous.

My guilty pleasure is Toddlers & Tiaras. I...I...can't look away. The children are (mostly) horrific, and the mothers truly frightening. Toss in the wacky pageant directors, coaches, flipper makers, spray tanners and gawd knows who else, and it's like crack.

And I was thrilled that Caroline and Matt from Vampire Diaries (THAT SHOW!) dressed up as a Toddlers & Tiaras contestant and creepy pageant Dad for halloween!

Thank you. I became addicted to Toddler's & Tiaras over the summer. Luckily now that there's more on TV to watch I've managed to wean myself, but that show is seriously hard to look away from. It's really the parents who are the worst.

I'm boggled as to why I've never watched Toddlers and Tiaras before. I think I have enough guilt from Dance Moms though and just can't handle seeing more children being pushed inthe spotlight by crazy, famewhoring parents.

ALL OF THIS! C'mon, the bratty kids hopped up on sugar, with enough makeup on to pass for a really short 35 year old? And that's just the kid!

One of my fave things ever: Ashley Tisdale and Leah Rimini in "where are they now" featuring MacKenzie.

I will fully admit that the season finale of Dance Moms actually made me a wee teary. I was just so happy for Chloe (even if it was all staged) because that kid breaks my heart and I think Christie is the only mother that may actually care about what her kid is going through/thinking.

Dan Le Batard is Highly Questionable is my new favorite show. Although it's technically a sports talk show hosted by DL and his adorable father Gonzalo, what it really is is 30 minutes of genuine unconditional love between a father and son. Love. Them.

Lord, do I love me some Chloe. That kid is so adorable and gracious and somehow seems completely uncrazy despite the long hours in the studio that seem to leave her no time to be a normal kid. Oh and all the insane fights between Abby and her mom, Christie.

I like Chloe too, and feel terrible for the way she's constantly compared to Maddie. She seems to have her head screwed on straight though; she really handled her mother and Abbey screaming at each other with a lot more grace than a lot of kids that age.

My heart breaks for Maddie. She's clearly not being raised to have any sense of grounding or perspective, and I worry when she falls, she's going to fall hard (and her useless mother and dance teacher certainly won't help).

It's great that Maddie is very confident in her abilities because she's certainly a very talented dancer, but man, she sometimes comes off sounding a tad too impressed with herself. I don't really blame her though since all she ever hears from her mom and Abby are that she's the absolute best, and she does win so many competitions. I love her movement onstage, but when she emotes, it always comes across so forced and pageant-like. I think Chloe conveys emotions more genuinely in her performances, which is why I prefer to see her dance, but seriously, I think they both are so graceful and talented for such young dancers!

Kiran, did you ever see parents and instructors actually shouting at each other and carrying on like Abby and the dance moms on the show do? It blows my mind that adults would behave that way in front of their impressionable children.
