Eurovision

Eurovision chat, anyone? It starts at 3pm eastern (in the US). Live feed here.

I recommend choosing "Guest" in the chat window because then you can change your username to your SF name or anything else you want.

This is what you missed if you didn't watch the Eurovision last night. I doubt if you'll have the chance to see falsetto vampires again.

I watched this live for the first time, and as someone who is used to American Idol dragging out 8 songs over 2 hours, I was amazed at how fast they managed to crank through 26 acts. Of course, adding up the points took forever, but I guess it would be rather anticlimactic if they just suddenly announced a winner.

I loved Romania and Greece, and didn't understand all the votes for Azerbaijan. My favorite number might have been the one that the host did celebrating the glory of Sweden. You really can't go wrong with a song featuring tap dancing Swedish meatballs and random odes to recycling and lactose intolerance.
