Pretty Little Liars. Another brilliant Hitchcock-ian wacko season finale. I have so many questions, but I know none of them will be answered for another 50 episodes. I..I'm ok with that.
Reveal more clues about Laura Palmer Alison DiLaurentis/Vivian Darkbloom and I'll be fine.

*sigh* I was kind of disappointed. I SO wanted it to be Ezra. And they swore they weren't following the books. They LIE like LYING LIARS who LIE. On TWoP they joked that Maya would die of old age. I couldn't help but laugh.

I am so glad that there are new episodes of Sweet Genius to enjoy! There is even more Ron Ben-Israel in this new season, and he is even more delightful than he was in the first season. I love this bizarrely entertaining show.

Because I'm a tad obsessed with Drake the rapper recently, I've become curious about his acting past and decided to try watching him in old episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation. It's semi-good mixed with some awful cheesiness. There's creepy online pedophilia in the second ep, teen drinking in the third, and who knows what else coming up in the rest of S1! Half the kids on this show look so familiar to me, and yet when I look them up on IMDB, there's nothing I recognize in their credits.

I've never read the books, and even I knew that Mona was "A". Was hoping for a deliciously sick Ezra reveal as well. I suppose the twist was that "A" was the most obvious suspect? Which is fun,in a way.
Season three has to be about Aly. If not? Then the past two seasons were nothing more than a jumbled collection of red herrings. I don't want a NEW mystery.
In short? I'm conflicted, confused, and I really don't want to go back and see if it makes any sense.
('Cause it doesn't. Not really. Fun? Yes. Logical? Hell no.)

They kept referring to "Team A" which gives me hope that one of the good guys will turn out to be a bad seed. I'm hoping anyway. Toby and his evil sister have got to be in on it somehow right? That said, last weeks episode with the dolls will make it so I never have a doll in my house. Ever. Mona was delicious wacked out in the nut house though. I still think that Melissa has something to do with it. So ya, 50 more questions than answers. Good call Case.

It's Spring Break for me, so I've been sitting on my ass all day watching Criminal Minds. I feel like a dope for liking it with all the bad psychology and everything, but oh well.

I love Criminal Minds! But then again I will watch pretty much any crime drama that's not CSI. The funny thing about Criminal Minds is that, even though it's so twisted and violent, it's on the "positive entertainment" channel that shows religious programming during the day.

Also you can never go wrong with Mandy Patinkin.

I am captivated by the Too Cute! series on Animal Planet. Yes, it is a blatant ripoff of Cute Overload (they even winkily say that you can "overload" on more videos at their website), but man, it gets the job done. I'm taking a vacation day today (AND I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT, ahhhhhh), and watching an episode that has pug puppies and Rottweiler puppies, two of my favorites. I CAN'T EVEN HANDLE IT. You might say I am on overload.

Plus, this show gave us the sloth episode, from which all heavily circulated baby sloth videos were spawned.

You should have seen me telling MY BOSS (who is a dog lover, so it's not THAT ridiculous) all about Ivan the pug puppy and how he was too dumb to go through the agility tunnel, which was like three feet long, and yet he plunked down in the middle of it and scratched at the side trying to get out, while his brother and sister ran through like champs, and at the end the Puppy BSOJ announced that, indeed, Ivan was enjoying a career as a lap dog. Also, the Aussie puppies got to try to herd ducklings, and they could not figure it out, and one of them just started hanging out with the ducklings and pecking at the ground with them. I truly love that show. (I can't find a video of Ivan in the agility tunnel, but this one features him, at least.)

Almost as much as my ultimate guilty-pleasure show, MAKE IT OR BREAK IT!!!! Which is back! Without pregnant Emily! Which is fine by me! Payson continues to be the best, Lauren possibly has a brain tumor or something, there is a new coach guy and a new bubbly annoying gymnast girl, and the rebel outsider gymnast somehow managed to film herself from multiple angles with a single camcorder. I missed this terrible show. Also, there was no sign of Candace Cameron, which is OK with me. But also no sign of Emily's mom, which is...also OK with me, actually, I guess. I did like her, but everything having to do with Emily made me so tired.

Anyway. Will the girls make it to the Olympics? NOT WITHOUT A LOT OF SHENANIGANS, I'LL WAGER.

Speaking of Animal Planet, I'm also really enjoying Dogs 101. I love dogs, I love trivia, this show is like tailor made for me. Did you know that all the Havanese dogs in the U.S. are descended from the 11 dogs that fled Cuba with their owners after the revolution? Or that Pomeranians used to be big enough to draw carts before they were bred down to lap-dog size? I freaking love this show. God, I need to go back to work.

I love that show! I've learned all kinds of factoids about different breeds of dogs. Team Guido from the first season of The Amazing Race were on once, with their little doggie Guido (can't remember the breed right now).

God help me, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first two episodes of this show. Losing the adults seems to work for it - I liked Emily's mom too, but I couldn't take more of Summer angsting about how God wanted her to be with Lauren's dad. And dialing down Lauren's sociopathy to manageable levels seems to be working too.

The new rebel outsider gymnast couldn't be any more ludicrous, but I already like her better than whiny Emily!

Okay, Dance Moms Miami is not looking promising so far. I can barely make it through the first ep. I'm not interested in the teachers (Victor from SYTYCD!), the moms, or the kids. I hope it'll improve next week. Then again, if it's boring, maybe that'll mean the moms aren't as batshit crazy.

There's nothing wrong in watching TV shows that are funny. It's a nice break from all the Cop/Coroner shows out there.

My GP is Ugly Americans, a cartoon on the Comedy Network.

Make It Or Break It has been canceled.

I'm absurdly bummed about this. How can The Cringily Dialog'd Life of the American Teenager run for 45 seasons and this gets canceled like, a month before the Olympics, even though it's about the Olympics?

I'm going to stomp away angrily now.

I am addicted to Cupcake Wars, despite the fact that I call shenanigans on the whole premise. Seriously? Some important honcho of some big name event is spending the whole day of the event in a studio filming a cook-off for a thousand cupcakes? Surely, said honcho has about a billion more things to do that day than taste freaking cupcakes?

And oh, the lack of hairnets and all the bubbly, quirky girlie-girls! And the wheat-free cupcakeries that complain about how they're handicapped! And how often reminded that the contestants want to take their business to the next level, and that this is Cupcake Wars!

And yet...tasty, tasty food porn!

(Food porn trumps all...damnit)
