Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
I know a bunch of you are watching this!
I've been enjoying it, but I have some frustrations with Rebecca's total and complete lack of recognition/acknowledgement that her behaviour is 100% driven by her obsession with Josh. Further to that, Paula, who seems to be a very no bullshit kind of a person is just kind of....enabling all the behaviour by doing what she can to help push Rebecca onto Josh. I mean, Paula
Still, it has fun songs and it's entertaining, so I'll keep watching (I've watched up to episode 10).

- almost having an affair makes me feel like when it comes to love she maybe relaxes her stance a little bit,

Re: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
I absolutely adore that show, and the more the season has progressed, the more it makes narrative sense. I like that it doesn't take shortcuts, and it acknowledges the flaws of its characters more and more. However, the end of the season finale left me a bit ambivalent. We can talk about it when you get there!
Plus, the songs are just great, and this show generates so many emotions; it makes me laugh and cry.

Ok, I watched the finale last night. I'm ambivalent too. Rebecca spends

So yeah, I'm a bit frustrated with the show's narrative. In the middle of the season I got really frustrated, then when they had that big city water case I found myself enjoying it a bit more, and as the finale approached I thought things would wrap up in a bit more of a common sense sort of a way. I am NOT happy that
- Spoiler:
- the final few episodes ridding herself of her Josh obsession and finally acting like a sane person, realises she really, really likes Greg, and then runs back to Josh as soon as Greg acts like an ass? No.

- Spoiler:
- I really, really wanted Rebecca to tell Paula to get a grip - when she was throwing out all that crazy Josh memorabillia and Paula was trying to stop her it was completely unrealistic. And when Paula went apeshit on her in the hospital and Rebecca didn't correct her (or stand up to her enough about all the demented things Paula did without her knowledge) when Paula says "You betrayed me!" I was like, um, no she didn't. She didn't tell you who she was sleeping with (and yes, lied about sleeping with anyone at all), but she didn't BETRAY you. Paula really needs to get a grip, like, A LOT. I really wanted them to get Paula to examine in a bit more depth why she was the one becoming obsessed with Josh, because I don't buy that it was just because if Josh was out of the picture, Rebecca and Paula wouldn't hang out as much.

- Spoiler:
- Rebecca and Josh ended up together, but I'm interested to see how he flips out at her confession that she moved there for him. I hope that makes him want to steer well clear of her romantically in the future.
