Stop what you're doing and watch this ode to fandom. 50 years of fandom! How many can you name?

I really liked that vid, except it got "We Didn't Start the Fire" in my head and it wouldn't leave!

I also really liked this vid which is all images of people on shows being fans.

Gorillas at the Calgary Zoo watching a caterpillar. I just love their facial expressions.

I loved that! I love how the older gorilla pushes the other one out of the way, all "This is MY caterpillar, go find your own."

Awesome political video, from Rekjavik. How could you not vote for anyone who promised a polar bear in the zoo and top notch stuff as a general rule, all set to a great tune? If I ever ran for any sort of office, I would hire his campaign managers. Politics is best done with a sense of humour.

Rescue fox loves marshmallows. I love his "Gonna hide it, gonna hide it....nope, gonna eat it" expression.

That was sooo freakin' cute. I would not sharing all my marshmellows either, as I don't like them anyway :)

Singer Kate Nash and her friends decide to put on a concert performance of the Buffy The Vampire Slayer episode Once More With Feeling for Halloween. It's under-rehearsed, more than a bit amateurish, and yet somehow so filled with dorky appreciation for the original that I can't help but love it.

And the dude playing Sweet just rocks his role.

Wow! How had I never seen that vid before? It was *so funny* in parts, which was something I wasn't expecting from the decsription. Frank-N-Furter for "England's got a new queen"! Hacker and Sir Humphrey for "Joseph Stalin, Malenkov". Brett!Holmes for "Einstein"! It took me the second time through to realize that they had Delgado!Master for "Richard Nixon" and, later, Simm!Master for "Richard Nixon back again."

This video of an elevator "prank" from a Brazilian show has been making the rounds today. I am 90% sure I would be dead if this happened to me.

Same here, and I'm also 70% sure I would have accidentally murdered that kid before dropping dead myself.

Same to both of those... And if neither happened, I'm 100% sure I'd never ride an elevator again in my life.

Does anyone know how to hide recommendations on YouTube's front page? Some slightly embarrassing suggestions have come up. On the work account, no less.

My ideal YT front page would be like Google. Nothing but the name and the search box.

My favorite Whedonverse fanvid is Defying Gravity, a Firefly/Serenity fanvid focused on the women of the show.

I've seen that vid before and I really want to like it because it's really well done, but I just can't. I hate that song. Haaaate. I wish I could like it, though.

I know this is an old video, but I don't think I saw it back then. Watch a baby sloth yawning. He sticks out his tongue!
