Color photos of a Cornish house, 1913 These are incredible, and it's so hard to process that these photos are from 99 years ago. It looks like a film set.

Edwardians in color

Kutno, 1939 I've never seen these before. These were taken by Hitler's personal photographer just after occupation of Kutno, Poland. Eventually all the Jews of Kutno were sent to concentration camps. Just seeing these people's faces in color...God, it makes it even more gutting.

Smiling Victorians How cute is the last one? It really humanizes the stereotypical stern Victorian photograph we're all used to seeing.
