Joseph Gordon-Levitt
I figured someone oughta start his thread already.
My fave line in The Lookout? This right here. Ugh, his character was so vulnerable throughout that whole movie, and it just made me wanna hug him.

I've only seen it once so far. I should do something about that.

I realized last year how much I enjoy Seth Rogen, so seeing him and Joe onscreen together must be awesome. Hopefully that movie is still playing at the cheap theater nearby.

He always seems to resemble Keanu Reeves to me. Mannerisms, a little, too. That's not a bad thing. Really looking forward to seeing him in the new Batman, but I really wanted him to be Robin. I know he's probably too old, but I don't care. Still, Joe and Christian Bale in the same film can't be bad.

I've seen quite a few pix in which he reminds me of Heath Ledger, which is funny since they were in 10 Things I Hate About You Together, and they didn't really look alike to me in that movie.

I've heard (and this barely rises above speculation but I'll put it behind a cut)
- Spoiler:
- that he is playing Dick Grayson but undercover in the police, since almost ten years are supposed to have passed between this movie and the last.

I often get annoyed with how cutesy they are together. Probably because I think it's bad enough when Zooey is cutesy on her own.

Usually I am annoyed by things as cutesy and twee as this duet, but for some reason this works for me.

Re: Joseph Gordon-Levitt
I honestly feel really bad when I get all irritated by Zooey because I know she's not trying to be fake or annoying. She's just being herself, which is quite cool, really. Unfortunately, "herself" often reminds me of a twee pixie that shouldn't exist in real life. She and JGL are like King and Queen Hipster, and the thing is they're not even trying to be! They just...are. It annoys me so irrationally even though they're two people I actually think are pretty awesome and laidback. To end this nicely, let me say that I love the fact that they're so proud to be from Los Angeles. That can get any celeb a little love from me, honestly, but the fact that Zooey and Joe just seem like such chill, happy people really boosts my opinion of them. (Being easy on the eyes doesn't count against them either.)

I saw a snippet of that video on GMA this morning, and they annoyingly only showed a portion with Zooey singing. Joseph sounds pretty good, too!
They are super cute together; I like how they are obviously close in real life. And Zooey is single now, Joe!

I really enjoyed it. I think I just have a high tolerance for cutesy and twee. I like LOLcats too.

That just made my whole day better.
Of course, Joe covering Bad Romance is one of my favorite things in the world so.

I thought the duet was pretty damned adorable, really. But I do know someone who loathes Zooey Deschanel, and refuses to watch (500) Days of Summer for that very reason, despite the fact that she does like JGL a lot. To each his or her own, I guess.

I think the Golden Globes cameramen might all have crushes on JGL because they certainly panned to him randomly several times throughout the night!

Singing 'Hey Jude' at Sundance.
Not the best recording, but he looks like he's having an absolute ball.

Eee I love when Joe sings! He's so joe de vivre about it and it never feels studied or like he wants you to buy his bands next album. It never comes across like he's a celebrity dilettante/James Franco. So cute.
Re: Joseph Gordon-Levitt
"joe de vivre" is a nice typo, blixie!
I agree that the Golden Globes cameraperson was completely infatuated.

Ha, I swear I put the i in there but I like the slip too.
More Joe cuteness lamenting how he's not a hipster "I make shit all the time." In his 501 blues...hee.
Re: Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Hee! So adorable. And totally King Hipster, no matter what anyone, including Joe himself, says.
