I think Community would've fared better on another channel, honestly... it started feeling a bit more like a sketch comedy with an actual set canon, which isn't a criticism at all - while it did mean I liked some episodes a lot and some not at all, either way it often pushed beyond what's actually believable, even for a normal comedy. So I can see why it was lost on mainstream viewers, especially when a lot of its original viewership started to wane as well. OTOH, it really was quite clever, so I think it's still a shame.

It does seem that NBC is culling its comedies... didn't it used to be the hub of comedies? Of course I have theories on that, but I'm not sure this is the place...

But I would think the actors are trying to get other jobs, so scheduling would be difficult.

I think it would only work if Donald Glover can back to the show. Once he left it wasn't as good.

I'm quite happy about this but was also interested in the Joel McHale might get Craig Ferguson's spot if it doesn't get renewed rumors. I really liked the idea of him at the desk...

Joel was on Conan last week and basically said those rumors were bullshit, they started because Julie Chen tweeted a pic of her, Les and Joel and then he retweewed it.

I must be in the same mood, because I was pretty 'meh' on the whole thing. I wanted to be excited, but after watching I just wasn't.

I did in fact laugh a lot of it, but I'm very easily amused. There's so much new to adjust to though and I'm not entirely sure they needed to forge a head with the sixth season, but I love Keith David, and I love the show enough to see how it all works out.

I didn't laugh out loud but I had a big grin by the end. I am hopeful that the fault is the trailer makers' more than the source material.

I dunno - maybe it's because it's been a long time since the last episode was on TV, or maybe I've just outgrown the show, but I can't make myself get excited about Season 6. Mind you, I was always kind of "meh" about the show - it just seemed too cool for school, and a little mean-spirited. I preferred "Parks & Rec".

I'll admit it - I choked on my coffee when Dean Pelton said "If I see any race gangs forming, I will change the contrast on your screens til you all look the same."

I'll definitely watch - I've watched them all except Season Four - but it won't be the same without Yvette. I'm still hoping that Troy will turn up after his spirit quest with Levar Burton.

I didn't find the new episode uproarious, but I enjoyed it. Some good cameos, but it sucks losing yet another member from the core ensemble.

I've liked the season so far, but I still miss Troy and Shirley. I like Elroy's character, but I'm meh on Frankie.

Good end(?) to the series. The moment at the bar was sweet and the board game was a great tag.

I wonder how the show would have turned out if not for the gas leak year.
