I am so excited about this!  I've actually marked it on my calendar to remind myself to program my DVR.

The show ended in 1999?  And the 90s weren't just ten years ago?  I remember programming my VCR to record the show while I was at work.  Fuuuuuck me.  So old. Actually, I still have those tapes. I keep meaning to buy the DVDs to replace them, but then I decide to spend my money on boring crap like food or car repairs instead. I hate being a grown up.

That is a very random partnership but whatever, it's still awesome.

I was hanging out with someone from Minneapolis who had never heard of the show. That made me feel old.

How is that possible? Aren't MST3K and Prince the only thing Minnesota has ever given the world?

I'll take the Coens and replace Keillor with Drop Dead Gorgeous. There's the Replacements too.

But the show was so Minnycentric it's a shame that someone from there had never even heard of it. It would be like someone from here not knowing about South Park, when there are so many regional in-jokes you'd get that extra value from.

Still years later I love the guys are all having such a successful second act, especially after the aughts where sightings of them were so few and far.

That is wonderful, isn't it? Of course, the fact that so much of their stuff is available on Netflix helps new people discover them.

Yeah, I can't believe they left off A Date With Your Family!

I'd have Home Economics and Cheating swap places. I'd also replace Once Upon a Honeymoon with Why Study Industrial Arts?, which is actually one of my favorites. Also, The Chicken of Tomorrow would be on there somewhere.

My favorite part of the Robot Rumpus short was actually the host segment after it, where Tom and Crow were acting out their trauma with lumps of clay.

I'd put Home Economics Story Starring Efram Zimbalist Jr at the top too. Those dated, repressive, sexist shorts were right in their wheelhouse and their riffing was on fire for that one.

"That's the semester the national Guard was on campus."

"Tragedy struck a lone gunman..."

"Five Pound Potty?!"

I'd also put Here Comes the Circus as the better circus short. Joel's admonishments about being too dark was a nice bit of metahumor where the brains acknowledged that they tended to get the gallows humor going for those. It was just something the material lent itself too. Of course, it's a short that gets made better by the sketch after it.

"Let's get the audience to question their love for their spouse and then convince all the children they were adopted!"

Anyone see Sharknado last night? I think "I hope for Ian Ziering's sake that bus isn't filled with mid to late forty something year olds" was my favorite.

That one is my favorite.

I had never seen Sharknado, and I kept throwing up my hands going what the hell while I was my laughing. What the hell was that? How did people watch that without a buffer?

"Tara please. I was an extra on Days of Our Lives."

All the shots that were in perfect sunlight.

"Tell my real doll I love her!"

The accusation I've heard leveled at Sharknado is, the Asylum knew they were making a bad movie. However self-conscious of that fact they mat have been, they were so incompetent that it didn't matter.

And god help them if Sharknado 2 doesn't have a chainsaw wielding Mr. Met!

A fan made an annotated version of Mitchell explaining all the Riffs.

Joel said they should have explained the host segments too. It's a shame that future generations won't understand the brilliance of the Redenbocker segment in Godzilla Vs. Megalon.
