Not available in my location. What does he say?

Re: Stars I Like
This is not word for word, but it's got the basic idea.
Many years later, he heard some of Inigo's last words in the film again — "I have been in the revenge business so long, now that's over, I do not know what to do with the rest of my life" — and he heard them quite differently. "As a young man," Patinkin says, "I think I was in a bit of the revenge business for too many years of my life. And, you know, somewhere in the past 10 years, I stopped being so angry and started being a little more grateful, literally for the sunrise and the sunsets and my kids and my family and the gifts I've been given. And then I saw that movie, the end of that movie. I didn't see the whole thing, I just caught the end of it, and I heard that line. And as a young man I remember saying it, I went back and looked at my script to see what notes I'd put in, and I really didn't have any notes for that line. I just said it, and I didn't realize what I was saying. And then I heard it as a grown up or whatever you want to call me, and it-it meant everything to me today."

I've never been a huge January Jones fan, but if she did indeed greet Trick or Treaters in character as Betty Draper that really makes me enjoy her. I know it's not the most creative, but hey! playing to her strengths...

I've liked Orlando Jones since he did those goofy 7-Up commercials, but his tweets and Tumblr posts have pushed me over into love. Dude is funny.

More Jennifer Lawrence stuff, this time involving her spotting a crying young fan behind the barricades, and stopping an interview to go over and comfort the little girl.

Ms. Lawrence is quickly becoming one of my favorite people. I'm so impressed with how she got down on the girl's level to talk and comfort her.Eris Rising wrote:More Jennifer Lawrence stuff, this time involving her spotting a crying young fan behind the barricades, and stopping an interview to go over and comfort the little girl.

Not new, but still. I love him. (I don't know whether he'd be considered a "star" outside GB and some parts of Europe (like mine), but I know some here enjoy him, so.)

I've not heard of him, but I love anyone who takes the time to explain that no agnostics are NOT actually atheists, as an agnostic I appreciate that distinction.
Re: Stars I Like
I adore David Mitchell and agree with almost everything he says about everything, but I don't believe the two are mutually exclusive. I'm an agnostic atheist; gnosticism deals with knowledge, theism with belief. Other than that, the more appreciate for the loveliness of David Mitchell the better! His wife, Victoria Coren is pretty ruthlessly charming as well, as much as she annoys me for marrying him.
Re: Stars I Like
Between this and his Tom Cruise parody, I'm rapidly becoming a fan of Jerry O'Connell.

Re: Stars I Like
Nothing quite as delightful as Matt Damon, Bill Murray and Hugh Bonneville drinking on Graham Norton's show and being awesome. Graham Norton saying to Hugh Bonneville that Lord Grantham is always wrong is so funny. Matt Damon has also a great anecdote of Bill Murray going to Prague. Funny stuff.

Ben Affleck and Jimmy Kimmel are busting on Damon so hard on Twitter right now, and it's hilarious. It involves Xeroxed buttcheeks and faxes.

Winona not only looks awesome here, but the article also brings to my attention the fact that Helen Mirren is Ryder's landlord. Naturally, Mirren comes over and fixes things because she's awesome even when she's being a landlord.

And being Helen Mirren, she probably does it naked.

Re: Stars I Like
I went to grad school with Ralph Winter's daughter-in-law (he was the producer of the X-Men movies) and she found her in-laws' world intimidating and didn't talk about that stuff much at all, but she did mention that she's had dinner with Hugh Jackman and her husband worked behind the scenes on the first X-Men movie and they love Hugh so much they make it a point to follow his career even though they're not big on movies generally.
I don't think I've ever heard anyone say a bad word about him. Hugh is one of the good ones!

He's been a major celeb for about 15 years or so, and I've still never heard a negative thing said about him. That's pretty rare.
