Yeah, you're right, you're right. And maybe the disbelief I have is an indication of a good adaptation because no one knew why Wickham would do this to someone who is "by no means unprotected and friendless." Wickham's just a selfish, short-sighted idiot.

Allochthonous, I was thinking something similar about how this is resolved. But while I do want Darcy to have his knight-in-shining-armor moment, I want it to be more than just Rich Men with Money Save the Day. These women are smart and strong with more agency today than back in Austen's time, so I hope that's addressed somehow. And building onto that, I'm guessing/hoping there will be a growth opportunity for Darcy because he'll realize Gigi is strong enough to help in some way and that he can't always try to protect her.

OMG! Why has no one told me about these?! I had to find out about it through the OUaT fandom on disorganized and messy Tumblr of all places! I lurve it and spent the weekend watching all 92 videos and have read all the tweets. I'm two seconds away from reading LBD fanfic people.

Also, I had thought that Lydia was in on it for Kim Kardashian type reasons. I'm not sure that I like that Lydia was tricked. If Lizzie embodied the prejudice in the book, then I think Lydia's impulsivity and lack of judgement was a nice foil for it. I'm not sure that I want Lydia to be %100 victim here. I mean, I get how she would be, but I think it is also interesting from a storytelling pov to go the other route. Either way, I'm enjoying it!

I'm torn on the Lydia thing - on the one hand, being conned by Wickham has made her a total victim, which I don't like, but on the other hand, if she'd knowingly made a sex tape, I don't know if she and Lizzie would've ever been able to resolve their issues (assuming that they can at this point, of course.)

When is the countdown clock meant to run out?

I wonder if George owes money to some serious people which is his motivation for selling the tape and also gone into, what seems like hiding. And is any of this is related to whatever thing George did for Lydia in Vegas? That's gotta be related in some way. They wouldn't have mentioned that without it being important, right?

The latest episode made me well up. On the plus side, at least Lizzie and Lydia have made up. Die Wickham, die...

Maybe I am heartless, but it's getting a little too much for me lately. I wish the Wickham thing would wrap up faster.

Just discovered that Gigi has been Tumblring (totally a word). It has some background info into what Darcy and Fitz are doing to track down and stop Wickham.

I'm hoping this all gets resolved by Thursday.

(As an aside, good casting for Darcy and Gigi - they really do look alike)

Very pleased the Lydia drama is over; we can get back to fluffy stuff! Speaking of which, Bing is like a giant adorable puppy.

Yay for Jane! I wonder what this means for Bing and if we're deviating enough from the book that they don't end up together? Did we ever actually learn where he goes to medical school?

I wonder if this new development with Pemberley Digital is where we get the Catherine De Bourgh interference. Are these jobs something Lizzie is even qualified for if that's where the show is going? And how could they swing it so it doesn't seem like she's being considered solely because of Darcy?

Does he go to medical school? If he does are there any classes? I think one of the commenters suggested he goes to Harvard. Which, why have 2 places in California then? At least I got the impression the Bennets are in CA somewhere. He could be finishing up medical school and getting a residency in NYC.

I want their clothes. All of them. Lizzie's, Jane's, Charlotte's, Mary's, Caroline's, Gigi's. Oh, and Fitz's for some tomboy style.

The Bennets do live in California, I read or heard that somewhere official. If not in a video, in an interview. Punzy, yeah, maybe he'd do a residency in NY. I do like that Lizzie keeps pointing out that he's never in school. I like strong, successful Jane, and that Bing has way more responsibility for his choices but I would be a little sad if she moved and that was that.

Well, the latest video answered my questions. I like New Jane a lot.

Aww, yay! It does make me a little sad we won't be seeing them anymore though but I guess there aren't that many videos left anyway.
