Re: Celebrities: Having Babies, Naming Babies
Well, he's 68, which is...wow. But at least he's in the habit of bestowing human names upon his offspring.
Slightly OT: On the topic of naming kids, I can't stop laughing at the fact that one of the students at the school where I work is named Deniro. His parents must be huge fans!

so he's going to be allowed to help name another human
There's a comment underneath the article you posted: "I’d suggest Kelly-Lumberjack. That is if they want to keep the androgynous first name-ridiculously stereotypical gendered profession combo." Hehehe.

So...I am probably way behind on this, but I've just learned that Dido named her baby Stan.
Really, Dido? I mean, REALLY?

Beyonce gives birth, according to reports, to a daughter. Although it's not confirmed, apparently she may be named Tiana May Carter. Which I actually really like.

That IS a nice name, but I'm kind of disappointed it's not crazier.

I was rooting for Rainbow Jazz Hands Carter, but Tiana May is nice, too.

Re: Celebrities: Having Babies, Naming Babies
I feel like Rebecca Gayheart's been pregnant forever. I thought they'd already had their kid months ago, but clearly, I was mistaken. Georgia's a very pretty name. I wonder if Rebecca got it from Georgia "George" Lass on Dead Like Me.

That's a very Downton Abbey name. I like it.

Aw, that is a delightfully Edwardian name.

Call me crazy but....I have been looking at this picture of Charlie and Denise and the girls and....that new "adopted" baby looks a LOT like the other two girls. If you ask me she has "Sheen" all over her face. I would not be surprised to find out that is actually Charlie's kid.

I cannot approve of naming anything under the age of 80 Ethel.

Re: Celebrities: Having Babies, Naming Babies
Yeah, I've gotta say...I'm down with Hazel, Ruth, Pearl, Agnes, Edith, Esther, Florence, and a lot of other "grandma" names that are coming back into circulation. But Ethel...I'm not quite there. Not QUITE yet. Maybe in a couple of years I'll be there.
That aside, I am EXTREMELY happy for her.

I'm very happy for her, and I'm glad its a real name. Its just a name I'm not a fan of, but whatever.

I fear for that child's hygiene.
And for some reason I thought he was much younger than he is and she was much older (she's only 30? REALLY?).
Re: Celebrities: Having Babies, Naming Babies
I think its because shes been around forever and has generally dated older men.
I fear for that child's hair.

Aww, Tom was so pretty in Pirate Radio. Now? Not so much.
I've heard that Sienna Miller isn't all that nice a person, though I'm not sure where I got that and therefore I could be wrong. Congrats to them, though! Bet the child will be born with lots and lots and lots of hair.
