I'm so happy for Caitlyn Jenner's coming out party, and that she finally feels free to be as feminine as she has always wanted to be. Though I won't pretend that her looking good is new, Caitlyn Jenner has been a good looking person her entire life, it's not surprising she's a stunner now that she's wearing make up and a great dress/corset. Like Laverne Cox pointed out there is a LOT of privilege going on here for both herself and Jenner, and it is important to remember cisgendered beauty standards are the least of trans folks concerns.

I also don't get the photoshop comments because if you watch the BTS video Vanity Fair posted...she looks like she does in the still photos.

I haven't heard any critiques from the LGBTQ community--besides the one's blixie pointed out, that the physical transformation that wealth provides is different than what many trans people (especially trans women) experience. A great deal of it is plastic surgery but some if it is just genetic luck.

I hadn't been following the story and the name "Caitlyn Jenner" didn't mean anything to me so when I first saw the photos, it honestly just looked like a random member of one of the Real Housewives franchises.
