In Non-British monarch news -- has anyone seen this pictures of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden? She's seven months pregnant, visiting a children's hospital and showing off a hand-knitted onesie one of the staff gave her and it's quite possibly the cutest thing I've seen on the internet that's not a kitten. Adorable

You guys, we are getting a ROYAL BARGE regatta on the Thames this year. We haven't had a ROYAL BARGE in living hell,y'all! I am so stoked! This is like Tudors miniseries shit! ROYAL PARTY BARGE FTW. Kate and Will might row a skiff, you don't know!

And now she has a use for it! I can't wait to learn the name. For some reason, I thought of Alexandra, as there aren't that many first names for queens regnant to go around. Not that Alexandra is the name of a queen regnant but it sounds like it could be.
