So, I learned today that Hot Neighbor Wade is A) filming a spot on Treme right now, and B) the son of JOYCE MAYNARD. Did we know this? I did not know this! (Being friends with Laura Lippman on Facebook comes in handy - I also learned about the 50% off sale at Mini Boden, which is a serious problem for me.)

Worlds should be way more fun with wacky outfits than US Nationals. It's the rare American skater who can make you rub your eyes and wonder if their sole purpose for that sartorial monstrosity is to blind everyone. We just can't measure up to the Europeans.

The Coachella round-up post is awesome, but this Rita Ora skirt is driving me nuts. Who is that??? People in the comments were saying either Sandy and Danny from Grease, or Rock Hudson and Doris Day, but I don't think the hair is right for either pair. The Daily Mail has it from other angles, and I think the dude looks like Dean Martin. No clue about the woman. It's a French label, apparently, so it could be French stars as well. Anyone have any thoughts? This is consuming my brain for some reason.

I did follow you on Pinterest, but I don't have a fashion board because I will fall down the rabbit hole and never get out. (But I do have a board for the diamond addiction I developed after the Royal Wedding, so the is that.)

I have to say, Heather, I have been really really appreciating your Lindsay recaps. I'm not watching, but have a long and well-documented affection for Lohan. I also spent the better part of a decade working with addicts, and your recaps are thoughtful and fair and respectful - three things that aren't usually associated with discussing LiLo (or, frankly, addiction) on the internet. A lot of really great conversations in the comments, as well, and just...thanks for that.

The comments section HAS been really fascinating with those. I think the show has made me both more frustrated with her, and more sad for her, and actually root for her more. Because to see how she's not just cavalierly being an asshole but that she genuinely BELIEVES in the arguments and the logic she's giving... that makes it so tough.
