Ha! Mona-Lisa Saperstein, Jean-Ralphio's twin sister. Brilliant. I fricking love this show.
And Ron Swanson's laugh is one of the most delightful things ever.

I didn't understand that. Does Leslie not get along with her mother? Or is Pamela Reed (Marlene) not often available for filming? Because there's been a few episodes now where I would've expected her to at least be spotted in the crowd or something. I realize it is implied that Marlene's not the most supportive mother, but on the other hand they do celebrate Galentine's together... unless that's pretty much supposed to make up for everything Marlene doesn't do with Leslie. It's just odd.
Re: Parks and Recreation
Oh my god, tonight's episode! All the guest characters were named after people from Infinite Jest! The law firm was Gately, Wayne, Kittenplan, & Troeltsch, and its motto was the same as the Enfield Tennis Academy, Gaudeamus Igitur. One of the women in the audience in Ben's hometown was named Kate Gompert. To see if she and Chris should have a baby Ann took the Incandenza-Pemulis parenting quiz (which would be so unspeakably, hideously hilarious), the fertility doctor was Dr. Van Dyne, and Skoda's character's name was Mayor Stice.
Awesome.

I didn't realize that, I don't even know what Infinite Jest is, but wow. That's really neat.
Am I the only one who was a bit disappointed in how flat Partridge ended up being, though? I mean, even Ben's own sister ran off. I guess I'd just hoped for something more developed. Of course, half of the guest characters from Pawnee come across that way too... I love the show, but I wish they'd give the minor characters some of the same depth and ambiguity they give the major ones.

The tag of Ron eating the banana still is making me laugh as I remember it. Also, love that the he and the doctor got along!
I also don't know how I can have a crush on both Harris Wittels and Jason Mantzoukas but I do! Though Harris looks better with a beard and shorter hair.
Harris and Brett showing up for the interview was also great, as was Oren's resume!

Harris and Brett are hilarious. And Rob Lowe killed it in the cold open. "This was one of my running feet!"

When I realized we were going to see Jason Mantzoukas I was so excited. And he used both dum-dum and garbage people.

Ron Swanson eating a banana is how I feel about eating a banana. I feel like I need to put that scene...somewhere, to explain to people a very fundamental aspect of my being.

Holy moley, I don't even understand half of this (not a Star Wars or Marvel Comics expert), but this is hilarious. I wonder how much they'll show in the episode?

Jabba's dead, dude. Why would Boba Fett still be hunting Han? And it's Core-uh-sahnt, not Corsican.
Idiot.
(For reals: The whole thing is brilliant but the way he falls apart at the end and says he needs to pull a Marco Rubio is the best).

I was so, so convinced that April was going to be the one who was pregnant. I didn't see the Diane thing coming. Ron Swanson as a dad has so many possibilities.
Also, I laughed for like 5 minutes straight at "Womb! There it is", hee! Also, Bert Macklin's Homeland-style bulletin board was a delight.

Yaaaaayyyyyy! I ::heart:: this show so much. I'm actually a bit bummed that the season ended so early in May (even though the number of eps was no different), because it makes it that much longer til new episodes in the fall.

Me tooooo. I had no idea last week was going to be the finale until I actually sat down and watched and just happened to glimpse the words "season finale" in the episode description. I wasn't prepared for that to me my last episode for however long! I love this show so much.Gallifrey Girl wrote:Yaaaaayyyyyy! I ::heart:: this show so much. This makes me o happy, even though I am saddened that Pratt will have a reduced role nxt season the cast is so strong that it will be fine but I adore Andy.

I wonder if that's in light of Pratt getting cast in Guardians of the Galaxy. His schedule must be kinda busy now. But there will be Andy and that makes me happy!

Yes the movie is the reason there will be less Andy next season.

According to Michael Ausiello, it's a full-season pickup. Waffles all around!

Re: Parks and Recreation
I just hope that is legitimate, last year they publically annoyed a full season pick up but it was actually only a 13 ep pick up (Ben and Leslie's wedding ep was written as a possible series finale) because even though I adored the entire season I do think the second halfs passing suffered.

I'm watching the bachelor parties episode now, and it's hilarious. I could watch a whole episode of the guys driving around singing along to "Shoop".

Just a reminder, tonight at midnight is the second "The Greatest Event in Television History," starring Amy and Adam in a remake of the credits for Hart to Hart on Adult Swim. Here is an interview with Adam about it.

I am floored by this casting spoiler:
- Spoiler:
- Rashida Jones and Robe Lowe are leaving the show in mid-season. Link. I find Ann pretty boring, but no more Leslie and Ann ladyfriends time? Damn.
