Re: Parks and Recreation
I cried when we found out she won and again during her speech. I just love Leslie Knope so much and I was so happy that she succeeded in her dreams.
Also I like that she wavered when she found out she could Joe Biden's number. Pretty tricky trying to use her crush against her.

Re: Parks and Recreation
I heart this show! Awesome episode.
Also, apparently Ben got A/A hooked on Game of Thrones because one of their places to move was Winterfell.
This show is coming back! I mean I have faith that it will and if it won't I might go to LA and bust some shit up.
Plus, Jean-Ralphio! They only had Ben Schwartz for enough time to film one scene so the fact that he was in the winning one makes me think winning was always the plan!
eta: Sepinwall's review points out that the lists of places to move also includes: New Caprica, and all the places from the Beach Boys songs Kokomo and in re-watching I noticed that he had also written USSR and crossed it out and put Russia.

Re: Parks and Recreation
I am not ready for this show to end, but if NBC loses their ever-loving minds and doesn't even give us a shortened final season, at least it went out with an awesome episode.
And I totally cried when she won, and during her speech. And when she gave Ben the Washington Monument. I just love these people SO MUCH.

Re: Parks and Recreation
Fun Indiana fact: the song Kokomo was actually named after a small town in Indiana--they just heard the name and thought it sounded exotic. So it would actually be totally feasible for Tom and Andy to move to Kokomo. I think it's about a three-hour drive from where I think Pawnee is. (Someone triangulated Pawnee's position from a couple different clues, and I basically grew up about 10 miles away. Not in Eagleton, sadly.)

The best of Perd Hapley! Though Ben is MVP in it because they have his freakout on the Ya Heard? with Perd (by the way why don't they sell those mugs!)
RENEWED for 13 but probably on the fall schedule so it could get more episodes.

OH YAY! That makes me ridiculously happy. NEVER GO AWAY, SHOW!
And that's good news about Up All Night, too. I don't love the show or anything, but I think it has potential. Plus, I really like everyone involved, so I am happy they get to keep working.

Re: Parks and Recreation
I let out a whoop when Jean-Ralphio came onscreen. I have missed him so much during the back half of this season.
Andy's list of places that he and April could move to was the highlight of the episode for me; I loved that it included locations from "Kokomo." I hope that Andy's list of possible careers and this being brought up again in the end tag are hints that he may pursue a career in law enforcement next season. That would be a great direction for the character and sure to pay off in comic dividends.
The only thing I wasn't wild about in this episode was more Tom/Ann and that it may continue into next season as well. This relationship has only brought out the worst in Tom, and seeing Jean-Ralphio again and remembering the hilarity of Entertainment 720 made this all too clear.

Re: Parks and Recreation
They keep finding amazing things to do with Jean-Ralphio's hair. And his scarf matched his shirt! I love him (and Ben Schwartz).
Soooo happy they got a full season pick-up! And this show needs some Emmys stat, starting with Amy Poehler. Absolutely knocked it out of the park (no pun intended) in the season finale. I cried several times (after Leslie cast her vote, when she thought she lost, when she won, during her victory speech, and probably more). I just love these characters so much.

OH, that was so awesome. I cried too. I loved when she said they were all going to the diner to talk about their feelings all night and it was mandatory.
I missed the Winterfell thing (I will usually pause on any list like that, but I fell down on the job), but that is hilarious. And even funnier because of the "Crisspoints" list on 30 Rock in which one of things that earns points is addressing Liz as Khaleesi. Hee.
I even love Bobby Newport. I got warm fuzzies every time he talked about how awesome Leslie was. This show is actively, pointedly, hilariously anti-meanness and I just love it.
Donna fixing the deleted files in half a second was also a high point for me. And every word Ron Swanson said.

HELL YES!!!!!
This show is a shot of sunshine and happiness in sitcom form. So happy for the full-season renewal.
Highly agreed that it's damn time the show started raking in its well-deserved Emmys. Besides the Peabody (!!) it won a few weeks ago, a few days ago Amy won best TV actress and P&R won best TV comedy in the Comedy Awards

In an incredible display of procrastination, this is what I did today: http://parksandplaid.tumblr.com/. And yes, I did get some inspiration from The Lamps of Downton Abbey.
[I realize this probably belongs in Shameless Self-Promotion, but I didn't want to bother non-Parks fans.]

Hee, that's going to be one of those things that I've never noticed before, but now I'm sure I'll spot it every time someone wears plaid!

Mike Schur tweeted a few days ago about being down for a season-long P&R/Game of Thrones crossover, and fans suggested some awesome plots. House Swanson motto: Tammy Is Coming.

Love that Tumblr! I didn't realize how much pre-Ben Wyatt plaid there was. No wonder he decided to move to Pawnee, he has the wardrobe for it.

Because it's summer and so comedies are few and far between I realized I could watch Fancy Party, The Telethon or Greg Pikitis, The Practice Date or any number of episodes on a loop and be fine until they are airing new episodes or basically forever.

I've been doing the exact same thing with The Flu, Media Blitz, The Fight (my all-time favorite), and Li'l Sebastian.

I actually think the reason I love him so much and get excited for him is because they don't overuse him. I'd fear that if he was a regular.
