I'd be upset, but I'm not an eight year old girl.
Jerry didn't know, heh. Andy being told to go vomit. Jean-Ralphio doing a circuit and then leaving at the accountant's. The Word Cloud. (ANN!) Love this show.

It's the Black eyed Peas.
And I finally killed them.
It's a Christmas mircale.
I want you to treat him like a man from another country you paid $25K to hunt.

No joke. Also, it may have gotten really dusty in my apartment right around then.Auroura76 wrote:

I loved all of their candy representations. Marshmallow Ron Swanson may just be the best thing ever. "I made a marshmallow Ron Swanson. His arms are crossed because he’s mad at all the other marshmallow workers for annoying him."

My house got dusty too. Weird, huh?
Leslie's gifts for April and Ron were the best. Ron's reaction was great.
Jean-Ralphio's hair is glorious. I hope Ben Schwartz having a new show on Showtime (HBO?) doesn't get in the way of more Jean-Ralphio appearances.

Re: Parks and Recreation
It amazes me how every relationship in this show is so great, and this episode just highlighted that. Leslie/Ann, Leslie/Ben, Leslie/Ron, April/Ron, Ben/April/Andy, Ben/Jean-Ralphio, Everyone/Leslie. What makes Parks so outstanding is that you can throw any pair or combo of characters together, and it's comedy gold.
I can't wait to see everyone working together on Leslie's campaign.

He mentioned me in a few interviews that he loves doing the show so much he made sure that he would still be able to do it with the showtime show.
I love that a shirtless Andy warrior was in the background of the April/Black Eyed Peas painting.

I really, really want that painting. Actually, no, I really, really want to be friends with Leslie Knope, especially around Christmastime.

Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose! Love it! I totally buy Leslie as somebody who watched Friday Night Lights, had a massive crush on Coach Taylor, and sobbed her was through the series finale. That was probably my favorite part of the whole episode. Well, my second-favorite part. First favorite was the Team Knope ending, third favorite was Ann telling Andy to go throw up. It's really hard to look at Ann and Andy now and imagine them living together.

Re: Parks and Recreation
All of Leslie's perfect presents for everyone in the office were wonderful, but their candy version of the parks and recreation office was adorable and lovely. This show! Sometimes it's the EXACT perfect mix of comedy and sweetness.
Jean-Ralphio was wonderful. I love how he actually gave Ben some pretty solid advice! The end tag was hilarious. And that HAIR. It is made of YES.
My biggest laugh of the episode was when Jerry was happily walking to join the rest of the crew after the reveal of the candy office, only to have the huge poster for Leslie's city council bid unfurled right in his face.

News on an upcoming guest star. BEWARE: even hovering on the link will reveal who it is, in case you want to remain unspoiled.
I think this will be tremendous and anxiously look forward to it!

Nice! Though I have to laugh because
- Spoiler:
- my husband is convinced that Adam Scott is the new Paul Rudd, so I'm always delighted when they're on-screen together.

I hope that his character has some interaction with Ben Wyatt, because I know they are real life BFFs.

Re: Parks and Recreation
I love how the writers keep bringing up Ben's love of calzones and how everyone else in Pawnee finds them unnecessary.
The continued usage of the "Get On Your Feet" snippet got funnier each time.
I'm growing tired of April's constant barbs about Ann. It made sense last season since they were dealing with the aftermath of Ann and Andy's kiss, but it feels like April should have moved past this by now. Either have April move on or have Ann fight back with a few cutting comments of her own.

I'm not super big on physical comedy, so everybody stumbling around on the ice wasn't that funny for me, but every time they replayed that tiny snippet, I died.jcpdiesel21 wrote:The continued usage of the "Get On Your Feet" snippet got funnier each time.
I want a Ben of my very own. The only thing funnier to me than the "Get On Your Feet" bit was his extremely short claymation movie. When it just...stopped, and he looked so bewildered. Oh, Ben. I love you. I also loved that he and Chris got some quality friend time in. I like that the show's been reminding us lately that Chris and Ben are friends who've known each other for years. That's easy to forget sometimes.
And hey! It's been a while since we've been to Ann's house. I've been very slowly working on a replica of her couch afghan[/dork], and it's been a while since I've been able to see it on TV.

There actually is a fast food calzone place and yes I had to order one.jcpdiesel21 wrote:I love how the writers keep bringing up Ben's love of calzones and how everyone else in Pawnee finds them unnecessary.

Wasn't he? ::fans self:: I need to find Chris's description of Ben's hair, because it was hilarious, and I can't quite remember it.
The brief snipet of animation was hilarious. I thought he would complain about it taking a few days, but when he said three weeks, I almost lost it.
I *loved* the whole ice rink thing. The ice mix-up, the teeny tiny stage, the partial banner, the not long enough red carpet. The music snippet. I was in tears.
I have to ask. How many legs did it have when you found it?

Does anyone know the story behind the three-legged dog - the real one, I mean? I'm hoping that one of the people involved in the show rescued him from a shelter and decided to use him in the show, because I'm a sap like that.

Re: Parks and Recreation
OK, I have to ask: am I imagining things, or has the P&R make-up department totally turned it up to 11 on Aubrey Plaza? I mean, she's very pretty, but this season she's been looking especially gorgeous.
Re: Parks and Recreation
I really didn't love that episode (aside from Scruffy Ben and Champion). We knew Ben was going to end up being Leslie's campaign manager, so did we really need 20 minutes of filler to get there? The ice rink thing was just kind of dumb. You're better than that, Parks & Rec.!
Also, Rob Lowe's tan was ... distracting. I lurve him, and have for years, but his pretty boy good looks were really not working in his favor against Scruffy Ben.

I don't even know why I try to write coherently about this show, my MAGIC HALF HOUR OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP. Because my brain is just all "sjfficicjdbshshdhfjcks!!!!!!!!!"
I want a gif of the punch and subsequent kiss, so that I can watch it over and over and over until the end of time. CAPSLOCK IS HOW I FEEL INSIDE MY HEAD!!
