This is totally Kristen Stewart. Her mom has a likely terrible movie opening this weekend and every review namechecks Kristen. And Kristen most likely bankrolled it.

Also, using this to try to explain away the star's mistakes and making sure to put in an obligatory mention of the boyfriend fits Lainey's KStew love.

That was my first thought as well, because someone on ONTD once linked to the mother's twitter account and she seemed very famewhorish.

She gave an interview to Us Weekly. You know, the magazine that published pictures of her daughter hooking up with a married father of two? Now, as much as I think Stewart's team has been working with them since then, to still openly give an interview to them is really gross.

K-11 is a horrible name for a movie about prison. It sounds like a sequel to that movie about the police dog. Or is K-9 about mountain climbing?

Yeah its totally Kristen Stewart. I don't like the girl, but the hate for her has reached such over the top levels in some corners that I feel bad for her that her mom seems like such a douche.

I thought of the (rightfully little-remembered) Katherine Bigelow film K19: The Widowmaker. It could be about a much, much smaller submarine.

He's on an execrable new show called Red Widow too.

The premise is like, if Tony Soprano got whacked, then the new head of the family delegated his top secret missions and killing people to Carmela instead of pensioning her off like a rational person would.

Poor guy.

He's also in that Red Widow show with Radha Mitchell, which looks trashy and bad and right up my alley, but I haven't had the chance to check it out, and probably never will as it seems it's already half cancelled. I have had it bad for him since The Deep End and am unashamed to say I will be all over the VOD of K-11.

Doing it to get her back

We were all a little sad, I think, when it was confirmed that they’d broken up. No one sadder than him. But she left him because of his drinking. It was excessive, and with the experience of her last relationship, she saw the signs and opted for self-preservation. In addition to his relationship with alcohol though, he also had an unconventional relationship with sex. Think...Michael Fassbender in Shame. Along those lines. Though he was faithful to her, totally, there are addiction issues he clearly has to address. And he’s doing that now, going to meetings, reaching out to another celebrity in recovery with whom he’s worked, as some of their issues are quite similar. He’s almost a month sober now and, yes, he’s doing it, in part, to get her back which... well... they know that’s not the way, don’t they? A few people close to him don’t think he’s really taking it seriously if he hasn’t committed to rehab. And she can see that too. For her, this is permanent, even though he doesn’t seem to be able to accept it.

I'm trying to think of well liked couples that broke up recently, but none seem to fit for me.

There was also Michael Sheen and Rachel McAdams, but I don't know enough about either Michael Sheen or Jason Segel to know about past substance abuse.

Michelle Williams may be more "sensitive" to substance abuse though, considering what happened with Heath, but the blind makes mention of what happened in her LAST relationship, not PAST.

EDIT - plus wasn't Jason Segal just out drinking beer on a patio recently...I thought Lainey had posted some pics in the last week.

Edit again...I looked it up, he was having coffee with a friend, not beer

I thought of Segal first too, but I thought the sources were pretty solid that she just wasn't that into him and it got awkward with him wanting to adopt her daughter?

That was who I thought of. And yeah, it would explain the bloat/weight loss cycle. Minus the publicized trips to rehab, Marshall is kind of comparable to Chandler that way.
