Back in the day, at least, neither Karis nor Jade were considered "normal" names. I actually like Devereaux much better than either Basil or Octavian.

We got a dog once and named him Basil. Except we discovered we were slipping into calling him Basil in the same intonation that Sybil uses in Fawlty Towers. (Ba-sil!)

He ended up being Murphy after the second day.

Pink had a baby boy. Jameson Moon Hart. As celebrity baby names go it's relatively normal.

Amber Tamblyn and David Cross have a baby girl. When I saw them trending on FB I assumed they'd broken up, but no. I do like what they said they named her, but god I hope they're joking.
