Solid, dependable, talented comedian and actor Taylor Negron. Between him and Herrmann, the acting world lost two of its most competent unsung heroes this week.

I remember him most from the Time Machine and as Pongo in 101 Dalmatians.

Re: Death Pool
One of the more interesting things that article leaves out is that Cherie Currie, after years of fighting with him over Runaways related issues, actually took care of him over the last year as he battled bladder cancer. She said that after becoming a mother she finally realized how hard it must have been for him dealing with 5 outspoken, rebellious teenage girls.

Re: Death Pool
If Edgeplay is to be believed, he was an abusive slimeball who mistreated and exploited the girls. I'm sure it wasn't all black and white, but at the very least he manipulated a group of underage girls for his own enrichment. The fact that Cherie Currie was able to forgive him says a lot about her strength of character.
Re: Death Pool
Terry Carter, who played Colonel Tigh in the original Battlestar: Galactica. Run over at the age of 86 by Suge Knight. Allegedly.

How is it 2015 and Suge Knight is still murdering people?

I had the same reaction when I saw the news this morning. How is this man still walking the streets? What exactly does he have to do to get locked up for good?

Re: Death Pool
EW, after first saying it was the Battlestar: Galactica Terry Carter, now says the victim was named Terry Carter, but it isn't necessarily this Terry Carter.

Geraldine McEwan, best known as Miss Marple, has died following a stroke. So unexpected and sad.
Re: Death Pool
Aww, I liked her Miss Marple. And she was so very evil in The Magdalene Sisters.

Awful sad to hear this. Loved her in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. "Something vexes thee?" Heh.

Oh no! I loved her as Miss Marple, and I always wished she would play another Golden Age sleuth, Miss Silver. She was so charming and likable.

Whoa, it's been a bad week for journalists. First the disgrace of Brian Williams, then the deaths of both David Carr and Bob Simon.

Double posting, but another death: Lesley Gore, who sang "It's My Party" and "You Don't Own Me," among many others.

Re: Death Pool
Lesley had some truly awesome songs (additionally used in awesome ways, like "You Don't Own Me" in First Wives Club). May she rest in the peace that I'm sure she has earned.

Famous for many, many roles, but to me he gave the best portrayal (apologies to Langella, Rhys Meyers et al) of Dracula. Nobility and utter remorselessness.

I always associate him with Gigi. I thought he was so hot in that. Despite the musical being the most charming but problematic thing.

That's me exactly. The first time I watched it, the whole setting your granddaughter up to be a courtesan thing was making me wonder if I was really supposed to be enjoying this and then they started to sing "On the Night They Invented Champagne" and danced around the living room and I was hooked.
I loved him as well in those Dumas adaptations "The Man in the Iron Mask" and "The Count of Monte Cristo", with Richard Chamberlain.
