He was great on The Shield...I remember googling him and being surprised he didn't get more work after the show. What a terrible thing this turn of events is.

That is really sad.

In other news, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith are being being investigated by Child Protective Services because of that photo of Willow Smith (13) lying in bed with a 20 year old guy.

Is she going to tell CPS they have perverted minds, too? Though I would trust this story a bit more if it were from TMZ rather than RadarOnline, honestly...I think it takes more than one or two iffy Instagram photos to start a month-long CPS investigation, especially on movie stars. Not that I don't disagree Will & Jada's parental strategies leave a lot to be desired...

This was just reported on the local news, so either it's true or there's a major echo chamber effect going on here.

And Shia LeBeouf cements his lead as the top current celebrity meltdown.

Arrested during a performance of Cabaret on Broadway after refusing to put out his cigarette, lurching around, and allegedly trying to feed a woman strawberries from her own plate, and Page Six reports him as having threatened the arresting officers when they were about to take off his handcuffs, then spitting on them, resulting in a face mask. He also allegedly used a homophobic epithet towards a booking officer, and to top it off, even told that officer that he had "Attorneys and millions of dollars...."

Yeah, he has some issues that should be addressed before he goes back out in public.

Aw, he was just angry he didn't get invited to the Transformers premiere.

That, and he's just a mega, mega douche.

Wow, that is a whole plate full of crazy. Strawberry cray-cray. I love the "it must be for a role" speculation. Such touching faith in the Beef.

Much like Lindsay Lohan I feel like Shia LeBeouf's behaviour extends beyond douchiness into genuine mental illness. I don't know. I don't find him pleasant at all but I find his antics almost distressing? Its the same as there was with Lindsay Lohan when she was wearing coke pants, like yes you are clearly an awful person but why is there no one around you that is like "dude, you have issues". I mean I know WHY, but still.

Yeah, I have no doubt whatsoever that he's an unpleasant, self-absorbed asshole, but I also think there's more to his behavior than just that. He seems unwell. Even assholes know to cool it when the cops arrive.

Oh yeah, boy has douche problems that have to be compounded by substance/mental illness problems.

Selfishly, it makes me sadder than other comparable cases because I actually really like his work as an actor.

He is talented. I also feel like tragically he never had a chance. I read a profile on him that went into his childhood. Even without the extra problems child stardom brings, he was never set up for success. None of this excuses his behaviour though.

Definite mental illness issues combined with possible substance abuse. The boy needs to spend some significant time out of the public eye working on himself.

Some updates:

He's been released on his own recognizance.
He was smoking a joint, not a cigarette.
He actually smacked Alan Cumming on the ass mid-performance.
Previous to the incident, he was seen chasing a homeless man, demanding that he give him his bag of McDonald's food.

If you see a link to a story about Michael Fassbender being arrested, don't click the bait. It's a different Michael Fassbender. Stupid clickbait. As far as I know, the real one is behaving himself.

A lawsuit involving two former employees of ICP's record label Psychopathic records has resorted in the new front-runner for headline of the year.  Possibly NSFW depending on just how strict they are at your workplace (no nudity, but reference to a marital aid).

And the person named in the lawsuit goes by "Dirty Dan", because of course he does. I guess that "Ass Dan" (R.I.P. Ass Dan) was already taken.

Interesting, but now we'll never know the truth of it, which I find frustrating. I suppose I'd rather hear it all out, even if it means bad news. Still, this kind of thing happens in Hollywood all the time. I'm not actually surprised.

Okay, the plot thickens. Egan, Singer's accuser, doesn't want to settle. So his laywer quits. It sounds to me like the laywer was just out for a quick buck. Maybe Egan feels he's in the right, maybe he wants more money. I dunno.

I just want the next X-Men movie. Does that make me a bad person? Not as bad as the guilty party here, whoever he is. But still.

Police take a month to realize they'd arrested a Scott Weiland impersonator. They weren't actually looking for the real one; this guy had just committed crimes and gave a false name when he was booked.

V. Stiviano files legal documents claiming that she was given expensive cars and a house by Donald Sterling not because she was his mistress, but his beard. You would think that the guy being married would preclude him needing a beard mistress (mistress beard?) too but maybe this an extra level of image protection for people still in the closet? It's entirely possible that she's totally making things up, but I could also see some star super eager to be seen as straight not only having an arrangement with a wife, but paying someone to be a rumored girlfriend, too.

Update on the Bryan Singer awsuit. Egan drops it, but he has the power to bring it up again later. Like around the time of the next X-Men movie.

If I was wronged, I would do everything I could to get justice. To me, this looks like there's nothing in it, just an extortion case.
