It was all worth it for Andy's Oval Office trivia about Oval Redenbacher.

I also enjoyed Chris Traeger's Feelings Update.

So, Tom and Ann is dead, right? All dead, not mostly dead? I'm encouraged by the fact that they apparently broke up immediately after the finale, but I'm also nervous because when two television characters bicker as much as the two of them did in this episode, it means they're about to start doing it. Leave it dead, show!

The thing about Ann and Tom that confused me is that they appeared to still be living together. I actually don't mind them together but also think them as roommates might be fun.

This episode was supposed to be the 4th one of the season but decided to make it the first. It was filmed first so I am assuming they reworked the other episodes so that Ann and Tom will still be broken up.

I'm just sad about the loss of Ann's house. So many wonderful memories.

Nooo! Not the house! I've spent the last year and half half-assedly trying to recreate my own version of Ann's couch afghan! They can't just not show it ever again (even if we hardly saw her house at all last season. The only episode I can think of that had a scene in Ann's house is the one with Pistol Pete).

I know! I loved that place. It was perfect. What about your couch, Ann? What about your beautiful blue couch?

I could not stop laughing at the way Rob Lowe sucked down that whole box of raisins.

On a shallow note, Amy Poehler's new darker blond hair really looks fantastic. I never thought the platinum was flattering to her.

I loved Rob Lowe smiling at the camera and calling raisins "NATURE'S candy!". My mother always calls apples "Nature's toothbrush."

I may be kidding myself, but I think I see Ann and Ron on the (distant) horizon. They had a lot of scenes together last year, and the repeated thing about Ron not knowing her name ... I don't know, maybe I'm imagining it. But the thought got into my brain last season and hasn't left.

(I also had the thought that Ann is P&R's Egg. Not just because of her name or Ron's inability to remember her name.)

Between "Local government is soooooo important" and the first question out of everyone's mouth being "So what do you do?", P&R kind of nailed DC cocktail parties.

Xena Warrior Princess is pretty much Ron's dream woman, so I loved the casting last night. And Ben's fan fiction!

Oh no! Lesley violated the cardinal rule of perm maintenance and deactivated the ammonium thioglycolate!

Andy playing with the little kids was perfection. As was, "Ron and Diane sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I, hey, look at the bird!"

I enjoyed Tom and Leslie together but I think Ben and April were more fun. The look on her face when he was reading her his fanfic was priceless. And I think April really is becoming quite fond of Ben, despite herself.

I had to rewind to see April's disgust at Ben's inclusion of "Shoop" on his mix CD. Pure comic gold.

I didn't understand that moment because that song is great. April sucks.

Gail Gergich has been cast! It explains were Millicent got her looks!

I saw that and she does look like Millicent, but the thing that was bothering me is that we've never had any hint that the P&R staff knew about Jerry's hot wife, right? Wouldn't they have met her or at least seen a picture on his desk and gossiped about it? Oh well, over thinking.

But Jerry himself has mentioned his beautiful wife Gail and I figure they just a) don't believe him or b) view everything through that whole "Jerry sucks" lens, so it would take an outsider to see that she's so beautiful. (How amazing would it be if they acted like she was a troll just because she is married to Jerry?)

I love it! It'd be hysterical if people were all "Suuuure, Jerry, she's a knockout" while shrugging at each other behind his back.

They could go the way that no one had met her though I think Leslie has mentioned meeting her but the only person who was surprised by the fact that Jerry's daughter was pretty was Chris and he was fairly new and so it would make sense that he hadn't met Jerry's family. So it's entirely possible they know she is gorgeous but they just have gotten over it long ago.

I loved this episode.

"Where can I find lube that's healthy to eat?" Everything related to going at it hard, old people style was gold.

I may slightly overidentify with Tom's storyline. It LITERALLY took me years to convince my mom she could type an address right into her browser without having to go through google no matter what.

I think this is the first episode this season I fully loved. I could not stop laughing at Andy's disgust when he realized the old people were actually having sex, and not just talking about it. His facial expressions were priceless.

As was "Perd-verts," hee!

Tom's sad attempts to swipe things that couldn't be swiped reminded me of my friends 18 month year old when she is confronted with technology that doesn't have that feature.
