Re: Football
I could see anything happening with this Broncos team. They could lose at home again, they could win the Super Bowl. But so help me if the pud Phil Rivers puts an end to the season I will lose my shit.

Congrats Dude! I bet you're happy tonight. So how you think it's gonna go against the Seahawks?

Re: Football
I was pulling for a Niners/Pats Super Bowl, given the available options. Since I can't stand either team that's left, I'll find something else to do that Sunday.

MWHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
still have one more to win, but it was sweet stuffing McDaniels.
I'm old enough to remember the Squawks as an AFC West rival so it's like riding a bike for me.

Re: Football
Husband, who has been a 49ers fan since the 80s, was so anxious about the game he decided not to watch it live, and decided to just find out the score at the end and then watch it. Upon executing this plan he became sad.
I think there was some research about how your team losing affects hormone levels in men. I can believe it.

Re: Football
Ha, that's both funny and sad. When I was younger I'd live and die with sports teams. Now I tend to have other things I'd rather do, instead of planning around games. But I've been there, so I know it's beyond huge for a lot of folks.

Grain of salt: it's the Raiders you are talking about.

Re: Football
Not just the Raiders. That said, a lack of any hope whatsoever does put a damper on things.

Re: Football
As a football game, not so good! As someone who's first word was "touchdown" for my beloved Seahawks, it was amazing!!!!!

Re: Football
So the Steelers need secondary help and wide receivers and of course in the first round they pick.....a linebacker. Sigh. I don't know why I get so excited every year.

Re: Football
Yeah, I feel you. The Lions picked up another receiver. We need another receiver like we need more potholes around the state. We need defense and to build up that line.

Chuck Noll died this weekend. I'm glad he got to see the Steelers win one for the thumb (and start on the other hand) before he died.

Re: Football
Aw. slmader. You should set up brunches with my football widdower BF.
God that was a disaster. Barely beat the Browns after losing a 21 pt. lead. First "Suck it, Haley. You suck." of the season and certainly not the last. Plus I picked exactly 4 (!) games correctly against the spread for the morning. Oy.

Beating the Patriots is a moral imperative lest darkness will reign over the land.
