OMG, Next! There was a period a couple of years ago when MTV used to run a lot of marathons of that show and the equally bad yet addictive Parental Control and I would always get completely sucked into the stupidity. I love how in the "fun facts" about the people emerging from the Next Bus, one of them was always completely random.

I sometimes watched the idiotic Room Raiders back in high school. I recall how excited I was when Maroon 5 participated in a Spring Break episode of the show.

I'm so sad none of you watch Fatal Attractions, because you missed out this week on a touching story of how a man turned to stripping to buy a black market hyena, who later mauled him. He was actually kind of charming about it. He was like, "Well, I wanted that hyena cub but he was $2,000, and I only had $100 in my checking account, so I just decided to shake what my mama gave me." I felt bad when his hyena tried to eat him later. But it has a happy ending! Said hyena went to an animal sanctuary, where man and hyena hang out on the weekends and are still BFFs, maulings notwithstanding.

Your synopsis is so awesome that I really want to watch that show now.

There's a marathon of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding on TLC today followed by a Christmas special tonight at 8 so I am in heaven. Never mind that I just watched all of them 4 months ago in a 2-day marathon. I'm fascinated by the ginormous, scar-inducing dresses and the archaic gender roles and the disturbing attraction rituals.

I *could* be doing something much more useful than watching the Too Cute! sloth special on Animal Planet, but I refuse to feel guilty.

Not sure where else to put this, but the pilot of Ron Moore's District 17, which NBC did NOT pick up, leaked online today. And OMFG SO DAMN GOOD. Curses upon NBC for not picking this up. Seriously, this would be a show I'd be totally hooked on if it actually had made it to air.

Speaking of MTV shows, I used to watch Undressed back in the day. Most of it was stupid, but some of the storylines were good.

I might just have to try The Lying Game now that I've read the book. I didn't love the first installment, but it seems like it could be great fun to see it unfold over a season.

I used to watch Undressed, too! I only remember a handful of the storylines being halfway decent; the show mostly existed to get actors in as little clothing as possible for the viewers to ogle. And I did not have a problem with that!

Hey, back in those days, pay cable was costly, and internet was mostly dial-up. We had to take what we could get.

Lately, due to fubar house problems I've been having, all the Mike Holmes shows. I fill up my DVR with every airing of Holmes Inspection and Holmes on Homes. Total porn. Because my gosh those guys and gals in his crew set such crazy unrealistic expectations for getting work done on your house.

If there was one, I'd go on a North American Mike Holmes House Tour. I'd love to see some in person.

I squealed VERY LOUDLY in front of my sisters when I read in TV Guide that Dance Moms returns on Jan. 10. That really says all you need to know about me. So sad.

My new guilty pleasure is Work It. If you watch the show in high-def,you can actually see the desperation on the actors' faces.
Yet..I want to watch again next week.

Spartacus is due back. It goes up to 11 on the gratuitous nob.

Entertainment Weekly has some pictures from Spartacus in its latest issue that had me wondering why in the world I have never watched this show. And it looks like equal opportunity gratuitous nudity; fun for the whole family!
