I can't see J-Lo going near him with a ten foot pitchfork. Donning my armchair psychologist assumption hat, I surmise that like Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez is at the point in her life and her career where she wants to be top dog, for want of a better word, because she's not looking to be beholden to anyone. Taking on Ben Affleck and his personality might have been a fun thing all those years ago but I'm assuming with two kids, she's not looking to take on a third that goes around in adult form.

Where he goes from here in his personal life is anyone's guess. Like I said to Kiran and epudom, if he fucks things up for the Batman/Superman press tour, I'll...well I won't do very much expect grit my teeth and get annoyed. But I will be side eyeing him severely from a (very great) distance!

Exactly. Which is why it would fail, and I would MAYBE cackle, if I were feeling uncharitable. (spoiler alert: I often feel uncharitable.)

Not surprising given the generalized stability and normalcy in the Kardashian family.
Slightly surprising because they've kinda been weirdly nice together for awhile.
Not surprising with pictures surfacing of him holding hands with another woman.

Overall verdict: not that shocked.

I would not be shocked if they're back together and having another kid in a year, but this breakup now gives the umpteenth season of Kardashian shows another storyline in the meantime. I guess cheating is a different kettle of fish than the usual "Scott is drinking and partying too much" angle, especially now that Mason's old enough to understand Daddy not being around. If it's over Kris can milk the "brave single mom" headlines and they can try to fix up Kourtney on blind dates.

That is not surprising. I don't follow country music and have no opinion of Miranda Lambert, but I've seen 1.5 episodes of The Voice and get such a creep vibe off Blake Shelton. He really skeeves me out, to the point where I'm genuinely surprised by how many people I know who absolutely love him. There's a lot of "Woohoo, he's back on the market!" in my Facebook feed, and I'm just like, "Ick." It's an unfair judgment of a person I know nothing about, but there it is.

I like him (and her and them together), and do find him hot, but then he's tall so I have low high standards. I don't like that he catted on Miranda, but yeah the cheated with you/will cheat on you warning seems to have come to pass. Ironically I feel like their problems started when they got married, they were together 10 years but only married for four and I feel like I've heard cheating rumors for at least 2 and half of the last four.

The *best* denial (and by best, I mean, rolling my eyes so hard they get stuck) was when they said they were allowed to check each other's phones to see if they were text/sexting anyone else. Because millionaire singers couldn't possibly acquire another cell phone and keep it hidden from a spouse!

Ha, so weird I was sick and catching up on ALL the reality tv, and one of the Flipping Out episodes last night was about Jeff doing a remodel of Megan/Brian's house, including a basketball court, Jeff made it green to blend in with the aesthetic of the backyard but Brian wanted it done in loud LA Lakers, but NOT LA Lakers colors of purple, black, and red. Jeff was like did Megan approve this and Brian's reaction in retrospect predicted this outcome (aka that she had no opinion and even if she did it didn't matter to him). Aw, though it's too bad, I did kind of like them together.
