Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. Nicki's twitter is making her look like the crazy one in a feud with Mariah Carey. Also she tried to bring Da Brat into it and like, I followed hip hop in the 90s and Brat will crack a bottle over your head so that is NOT the wisest move.

I car dance to Nicki's music all the time, but girlfriend does NOT have the credentials to take on Mimi. Yes, I imagine 10 hours in a room with Mariah Carey would drive anyone 'round the bend, but Nicki has made ONE album and has maybe three hits to her name. Mariah, for all her narcissism, has been a big name for two decades and has ten times the name recognition of Nicki Minaj.

But whatever, I don't watch Idol and this shit certainly isn't going to make me start.

I have a friend who's a social worker and she said Nikki in the video (audio? I don't care enough to track it down) of the fight reminded her of when she worked at a home for emotionally disturbed children.

It's been very interesting to follow the Nicki/Mariah drama on Idol blogs...it is not going over well with hardcore Idol fans at all. People always say, "I'll never watch again!" but I think these developments might repel more fans than they attract. Perhaps that is the goal, a trip into Maury/Springer territory to completely drive away all those fans who keep voting for brown-haired guitar dudes, so they can finally get a girl to win again!

Like I said in the Idol thread, I would not be surprised if one of them didn't last the whole season at this rate. The first video of Nicki ranting at Mariah was one thing but with Mimi dragging Barbara Walters into it and claiming Nicki threatened to shoot her and now she has to have extra security, I just don't see them making up from that and things will only escalate the more they have to work together.

My favorite take on this is where Lainey pointed out that Minaj is basically foaming at the mouth and Mimi hasn't even stood up yet. It's just making Minaj look bad.

Bret Easton Ellis vs. the Fifty Shades of Grey screenwriter and producer

Perhaps simultaneously angered and relieved that he didn't hire Ellis, Fifty Shades producer Dana Brunetti fired back at Ellis and unwittingly started a Twitter feud among Ellis fans, Ellis haters and people who just really didn't like the trailer for The Canyons.

"@BretEastonEllis Really, Bret? The day you release that 'trailer'. School film? You're losing it...," Brunetti tweeted (and later deleted), referring to the teaser that came out today for The Canyons, starring Lindsay Lohan and porn star James Deen.

I don't watch Blue Bloods and know nothing of Celiac Disease, but if she truly did have her doctor saying she can't work certain hours then that's bullshit of CBS and ripe for a lawsuit.

Yeah, my wife has Celiac Disease, and it can be crippling. If she was fired over this, then a lawsuit may be the least of their worries. I could also see a boycott.

From what I know about Celiac (Baby Razor has it), the symptoms abate once you're permanently on a gluten-free diet. Accidentally being exposed to gluten (which, by the way, ends up in the most ridiculous damn places) can be debilitating, but if she's mostly on a GF diet, I'm not sure why she'd need reduced hours, unless she has a secondary condition caused by years of living with undiagnosed Celiac.

TL;DR: Celiac Disease alone shouldn't keep her from working full time. I wonder if she has another condition as well. CBS are probably being jerks.
