There were rumors about her and Affleck. Then there was also a BI about Harvey Weinstein TRYING to get her to give in, but that she resisted him. So I guess she's 50/50 on the casting couch rumors?

I wonder if they'll actually act married. I mean, I know privacy's a thing, but Reynolds and Johannson were hardly ever even seen with each other.

I think there have been more pictures of Ryan and Blake together in the year they have been together than there ever were with Scarlett and Ryan and hopefully she won't refer to him as her Canadian as Scarlett used to.

I think that was ScarJo's ish, I don't think he loves to be papped, but I don't think he minds it as much as Chris Martin or Affleck/Garner.

Yeah, but ScarJo has already been papped more with her Non-Celebrity Boyfriend than I feel like she ever was with Reynolds. I honestly think they were never together, thus the quick death of their marriage.

I wonder if that's because ScarJo's more chill now or because she's more famous. I think IM2 and Avengers has upped her fame quite a bit (whereas Reynolds is sort of fading, maybe?).

ScarJo's fame seems to come in waves--back in '05, when she was coming off of Lost in Translation and had Girl With a Pearl Earring (and that SAT-heist movie you know her team was pissed got released in the middle of awards season), she was everywhere and there was that hilarious rumor about her and Benicio Del Toro getting it on in a hotel elevator (which he denied on the grounds that the hotel in question only had about five floors and he would have barely had time to get his pants off). I feel like she's gotten really big again thanks to Avengers--she just seemed to be doing slightly smaller/less awards-catching movies for a bit there.

Lena Dunham is dating Jack Antonoff of fun. I guess it's the hipster universe's way to make up for the demise of Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard.

I missed when Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen got back together but then again neither is really on my radar.

You're right, it's all a matter of the people in the relationship and what the want. But it seems like that's something that will always be hanging over their relationship.

That's what I think. They'll tease the fanbase until the movie is out and it will rehabilitate Stewart from being a "trampire". They're already started with all the glowing headlines about her red carpet appearances. She's still going to be a pretentious hypocrite though.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Maybe they're going to hold it together for the movie stuff and agree to go their separate ways afterwards. The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if the studio offered them bonuses if they act civil during the press stuff.

This seems pretty plausible, because I think any visible acrimony between the two might cause trouble in the fandom. Polite public appearances together gets the fans excited to see the movie again.
