Poor girl.

I also never realized Sarah was her sister.

Wow, I can totally see the resemblance between her and Shanelle. I'm glad Ariel is outta there.

Not to draw any spurious connection, but I remember that while on OLTL Shanelle was involved in a some SnM like art exhibit photos that Nathan Purdee put together, that made me go wow Hank Gannon is kinky, which I really didn't want to know.

Didn't that get Hank fired too? I mean I didn't want to know he was a closet freak either but I never got the whole AND YOU WILL NEVER SEE HANK AGAIN that resulted from it.

People has a description of the charges up and under emotional abuse they listed attempts to sexualize the child and sadly I can see that. She seems to sometimes dress...not her age.

That was actually my first thought. There was a really inappropriate Emmy dress, but at the time I thought it was probably her choice because, duh, pre-teens are often super skankily inappropriate. Poor kid. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but if this is the second kid taken away from her, that's a pattern of shitty parenting.

If it's the ONLY kid that's been taken from her, which it doesn't sound like it is, it's a pattern of shitty parenting. Poor kiddo.

He was already half way in the (Frons diversity) closet by then, it's why he had so much time to focus on his photography (although I think it was a live action um party as well?), but ya the hubub pretty much meant he was not coming back.

According to my friend who works at a leading London hotel, Shia LeBeouf was arrested the other night for damaging hotel property whilst high, and there were a bunch of drugs in his room. I wonder if he went off the rails when he heard that he was being replaced by Marky Mark in the next Transformers movie...

Oh Shia. A combo of my love of Even Stevens, combined with the fact that I think hes actually talented, and his stories of his childhood (heroin addicted clown is the most terrifying thing someone can be) make me just very sad for him. Hes a total douche but something about him just depresses me about him rather then annoys me. Its like hes the male Lindsay Lohan but with a better work ethic.

1) Mark Wahlberg's gonna be in the next Transformers movie? 2) THERE'S GOING TO BE ANOTHER DAMN TRANSFORMERS MOVIE?! I couldn't even make it through the first one. I can't believe anyone would wanna see a fourth!

Shia seems to not want to do one and I'm surprised Mark Wahlberg would. His career is actually prestigey now and he can finance original dumb action films and has. Why would he want to hitch his wagon to the Transformers? I mean they make money but...

That's true. He's actually got cred now having done some really well-received work in the past 5 years or so, like The Departed and The Fighter. Why slide back with something asinine like Transformers 4? I'd say Shia's got the right idea in not wanting to make another sequel. I can only imagine how boring filming and then promoting those kinds of movies must get despite all the money you make from such financially successful projects.

Wahlberg also seems too old to have childhood attachment to the original series, because that could explain it. Though, of course, money might also explain it best.

He does have quite a few rugrats running around now, so maybe he's planning on sending them all to posh elementary schools and colleges? Wouldn't blame a man for making crappy movies to ensure his kids got fine educations!

Also, while all three movies are crap, the general consensus among fans of the property (such as myself) was that the last one was the least crappy of the bunch and the one that was closest to the movie we'd wanted to see back in '84, if it had been possible.

So. If it's not your thing, it's never gonna be. But it's going to make bank, so if he wants a relatively easy paycheck, that's the way to do it, especially if he can get points on it.

That news seems especially horrifying just for having anything to do with Sesame Street. I wish I could un-see it.

See, what makes it terrible is that even if the version Clash is telling is the truth, he still seems like a complete sleaze at the very best, and at worst someone engaging in...grooming basically.

Ohhhh dear god. That is just awful. They must be in Beyond Crisis mode right now.

I really liked Kevin Clash. And, so, best-case scenario, he's cheating on his wife? Or is he divorced? I saw the movie but I can't remember.

Auuuugh I am literally going through the stages of grief right now. And I don't even like Elmo.

Oh Gods, that's just horrifying. I'm with Whatthedeuce, this just feels worse somehow because of the Sesame Street connection. I feel the need to express my feelings in haiku form:

No no no no no
No no no no no no no
No no no no no

I feel like I constantly keep hearing about people using their jobs and/or fame to rape or otherwise molest children and I'm getting to the point where I just want to set the whole human race on fire, because how can something that horrible be so seemingly popular? What the fuck is wrong with people? Just...UGH!

Either Elmo committed statutory rape, or he very deliberately didn't. One's illegal, the other is just sleazy.

Now I'm remembering the parts of the "Being Elmo" doc where he talked about how much it meant to him when he was mentored by older puppeteers as a teenager (and he was quite young when he started working) and how he tried to do the same thing now. And I thought how cool that was.

And now it's just a pile of wrong. I just want Sesame Street and the Muppets to be untouched by badness forever. Ugh.
