Hee! Exactly what I came here to post. Great ep, but more Britta, please!!!

AHAHAHA, I saw the title but did NOT get that.

I sometimes find the high-concept episodes laborious, but for whatever reason this one worked brilliantly for me. Maybe because I have watched an insane number of Law & Orders. The RHYTHM was just right. I don't even know how they did that. Like, the rhythm of the patter.

I liked Troy and Abed arguing over who would deliver the zinger.

NBC will air the final 3 episodes of Season 3 on May 17. Link Most people seem to think this is a good thing, but it smells suspiciously like burning off episodes to me.

I'd normally agree that it's burning off episodes, but when networks do that it always happens during the summer or pre-sweeps. Instead they have it scheduled right smack in the middle of May sweeps, along side 30 Rock's season finale.

Plus, the article made a point of mentioning that Awake's finale got moved to literally the day after sweeps ends to make room for Community.

Oh my god, last night's was thematically divided into the five stages of grief!

1. Denial - they sat around the study room not caring
2. Anger - the riot
3. Bargaining - pushing the blame off on Chang
4. Depression - sad after being expelled
5. Acceptance - the very end where they know they'll be okay

Awesome!

I wish Starburns's one-armed lawyer were Jeff from the evil timeline.

All the big critics are on Twitter doing damage control on that - it's a completely unsourced article and it's nothing more than rumour at this point. Sepinwall told us to not panic, so I will listen to Sepinwall! There are always a ton of rumours this time of year.

Yeah that seems like just more of the same speculation, not anything official. Which doesn't mean it won't happen, only that it hasn't yet.

It might be right. Sepinwall just reported that 30 Rock will get a 13-episode final season. Link

Yes, because ending critically-acclaimed but low-rated shows like 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, and Community to make room for shows that will likely be low-rated AND be critically panned makes a whole lot of sense.

I get that these shows do not do that well in the ratings, but I also feel like NBC is operating under the delusion that they will someday, if they try hard enough and test as many shows as possible, make a Thursday night lineup that brings in the Seinfeld/Frasier/Friends/Will and Grace numbers, and HAHALOL GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.

Same here. Especially considering that I feel lucky that the only reason we got a 2nd or 3rd season at all was because NBC's overall ratings were so low.

Oh man this was for me one of the funniest episode of the season, totally scattershot, Loony Toons paced, but funny as hell. Lots of good Britta, Pierce, and Troy with bonus John Hodgeman. "Let's see what happens when we take away their pen." Hee.

I love that they actually bought the "Greendale is an asylum!" lie, even though it was only for about four seconds. And Troy's face after the shrink told him they were in purgatory! It was a fake therapy session planned for just Abed; who knows, it might have worked.

I wasn't wild about this week's episode. It felt like a rehash of last season's fake clip show and wasn't as successful or funny. And it's a part of the Chang's Army arc, which I am not digging so far. I did appreciate the darker angle and John Hodgman guest appearance, though.

Watched the episode, read the reviews, followed the comments, and even agreeing with the worst, and I find I feel the same with 'Community' as I do with Terry Gilliam: I'd rather watch a Gilliam disaster than a Spielberg triumph.

I thought this clip show was way way funnier than last year and actually managed to have a story. But I'm also loving the Chang arc. His child army makes me laugh and laugh.

Troy's faces alone would make that episode for me, and that line about them remembering something and the fake shrink getting away. Hee I also loved when Britta, was like, "I *don't* - want to hear mine."

You're being pretty generous there. I'd say abysmally rated and critically reviled. My money is on more Whitneys, Outsourced and Chelsea Handlers being the next ones off the bench.

So was Britta supposed to look like Ke$ha when she was on peyote or was it just seridipity that she ended up looking like that?

I loved last year's clip show episode but may have loved this one more - an offscreen third paintball event, Abed's shrieking over Daylight Savings Time and calling Shirley a bad person because she liked Brett Ratner, poor Annie doing her "Troy and Abed AND ANNIE in the mor-ning!" theme song, although my favorite part might have been Jeff slapping Troy: "Stop letting him make you realize stuff!"

The other two were cancelled but Whitney (which I only watched the pilot of, so there is no love ther) routinely beat Community in the key demo and doubled there overall ratings, I couldn't imagine them renewing their critical darlings and not renew their new show that didn't fail even when it was tied to the dead weight that was the Handler show.

Banished to Friday's, following Whitney.

In even more disturbing news, in the NBC upfront call it is mentioned that Dan Harmon's contract is up and that he might not be involved in the day to day.
